Bakersfield police searching for at-risk missing woman | KGET 17

Bakersfield police are searching for a woman they consider at-risk due to “suspicious circumstances.” In a release, the department asked for help locating 36-year-old Gladis Mayorquin who was last seen in the 4400 block of Columbus Street. She’s 5’3” tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 661-327-7111.

I don't know what to think of it. there is no chatter. Her son is not asking to find her.
It appears she just got a new job in march of this year. I wonder if maybe this is who noticed her missing

Agreed that there isn't much info being out out here. If you go back a little further on her FB page though, there is a post from Jan about no longer being a drinker but still having an urge to get drunk & missing it. Then not long after, another post that asks if anyone really enjoys her being in their life. Another post around Feb or Mar states she got her license back. Shortly after that posts indicate to me that she moved to Bakersfield from LA & may have considered moving back due to some circumstance of possibly emotional response. And shortly after that, she states that she got a new job in Bakersfield & was hoping it would lead to a better life. So without really know ANYthing about this girl, I have to wonder if maybe she lost that job or for some reason hasn't shown up for her job and no one can get ahold of her - and that's what led to these "suspicious circumstances". As always of course though, this is *VERY MUCH* MOO with a lot of assumptions & guesses being made on my part.

UPDATE: On June 28, 2021, at about 8:20 AM, Bakersfield Police Department officers were continuing their search for Mayorquin, and ultimately located her unharmed in the 5200 block of Olive Tree Court.
