CHATSWORTH, CA — A missing 23-year-old woman was last seen at a Vons in Chatsworth on Thursday, authorities said.

Police solicited the public's help to find Hadyne Wilson, who was last seen at the Vons at 20440 Devonshire Street on Thursday.

Wilson is a Black woman around 5 feet tall with black and white braids and brown eyes.

"Hadyne did not return home from work, and was last seen riding a silver manual Razor Scooter, wearing all black with a black backpack and black boots," according to the Los Angeles Police Department. "Hadyne's friends and family are very concerned for her safety."

Anyone with information can contact the department at 213-996-1800, or by calling 877-527-3247 on weekends and after hours. Anonymous tips can be called in to 800-222-8477 or submitted to lacrimestoppers.org.

It does seem like a long time... Who does Hadyne live with? Any activity on her credit card (if she has one)? Not much to go on here.

Any trace of her Razor Scooter? Does she own it? If so, would there be any way of knowing a found Razor could be identified as hers? If so, that could be a help. That sounds like that's all there is to go on...
Did she leave work at night? If so, no one may have seen her at all. Was someone watching and waiting for her? If she had be hit by a car or had a spill on the Razor, seems like someone would have noticed by now.
Did she live close to Vons?
This one is scary. Into thin air. Hoping for good news.

As far as I know, no, there isn't a way to track a Razor scooter to the owner. unless it was a rental through some kind of service. But various services in L.A (Razor Micromobility, Lime, Bird) don't appear to have manual scooters to rent out (only powered ones), so IMO she owns it/borrowed it from a friend.

Friends and family of a 23-year-old Chatsworth woman who went missing last week are spreading the word about her sudden disappearance, which they worry is related to her mental health struggles after a COVID-19 diagnosis.

Her mother, Cyndee Wilson, said Hadyne suffers from COVID-related psychosis, which affects a fraction of those with the coronavirus and “kind of looks like schizophrenia.”

“They start to hear voices, hallucinate, they start to get paranoid about people who care about them,” Cyndee Wilson said.

Hadyne Wilson had been on antipsychotic medications such as Haldol but stopped taking them in May, her mother said.

Wilson loves to draw and help people, and worked as a youth leader at a church, her mother said. She is also an avid writer who has published a book of poems.

“I just want to find her, get her home, take her to the hospital if we need to do that,” Wilson’s mother said. “It just takes her to another place, another fantasy world.”

Hadyne was found last Wednesday! I'm so happy she is receiving help now, and I hope she will be able to return to her family soon.

A family in Los Angeles believes a rare case of "COVID psychosis" may have led to their loved one's sudden disappearance.

A Los Angeles family is grateful their loved one has been found after missing for two weeks, and they believe the rare condition called COVID psychosis may have contributed to her sudden disappearance.

Hadyne Wilson, 23, went missing on September 29 after abruptly leaving her job at Vons in Chatsworth. Her coworkers reported odd behavior from Hadyne that day. Hadyne did not come home that night either.

Her family frantically searched for her for two weeks.

"It was hell and it was torture, but we held on to God's promises that she would come back. Everybody went out looking and we plastered everything [with missing posters] and I think somebody found her and brought her to the hospital because of all the efforts of everybody which we're so grateful for," said Cyndee Wilson, Hadyne's mother.

Hadyne was found by an unidentified person on Wednesday and ended up at the Cedars Sinai emergency room. She was then transported to another facility for care.
