I am curious about the part where grandmother says it's "unclear" what they were doing at the time she disappeared. It just doesn't sit right with me. The story should be very clear.

Forgive me, I may have missed it .. who reported Haley missing? Her family after not hearing from her, or the "friend" that was with her? Did they report that they stuck around looking for Haley? I am curious as to what happened. If it was some kind of accident, I would think the friend would have gone to call 911 or find help ASAP .. unless the two did actually part ways, Haley stuck behind, and something happened ... I hope they find answers soon!!
From what I understand in the articles and videos, the boyfriend went to the family's home to ask for help in finding Haley. I don't know who actually reported her missing to LE.
I'm also unclear about where Haley, and her family lived. FB page says from Los Alamitos, did she live there?
Haley told family that she was going to San Pedro to " visit a friend" so it appears she doesn't live in San Pedro, but the bf does. Los Alamitos is in Orange County. It's about 40 mins from there to Royal Palms, San Pedro.
Did the bf call the family first? Did he search for Haley before doing so?

I was afraid of this. The fact that her clothes, shoes and towels were found gave the impression she was going swimming. The park's info recommends "no swimming" due to the rocky shoreline but I can see where it would be tempting on a hot summer day. RIP Haley.
