This place looks a bit ominious - do we know if this area has been searched - a bit out of the way but only a detour from the car parts place to home.
I noticed that place on the other map too. :(

If you mean Aug. 10, the day Hasanni "disappeared" (supposedly), the little girl was with LR , he had both kids that day (allegedly). Supposedly both children were in the car when he was at the salvage yard.
That's what I thought too but then I read the other posts and was beginning to wonder if there had been a correction somewhere that I missed. I just think nothing's been mentioned about the baby girl at the salvage yard since she isn't missing. MOO

I know very little about CP, but do those with it usually feel cold? That could be a legitimate reason for the sweatsuit in August. Yes, I too have thought about physical abuse hidden by the clothing.

Yes, CP can come complete with circulation issues that can cause coldness, but it depends on the person. I do know that the less mobile the person is, the more susceptible to cold they are, and cold extremities can be helped by movement. It sounds like Hasanni was fairly mobile, but might have been prone to cold feet and hands. Not sure about the whole-body sweat suit, though - a lot of the students I work with dress in "normal" seasonal clothing in summer, but, then, they are also adults.

ETA: As a comparative note, even those students in wheelchairs are often in shorts and t-shirts on hot days, but with thick socks or even boots. They need some assistance moving around a bit when they get chilled, but are generally fine in summer temperatures. But, as I said, I have no experience with CP in kids.

ETA 2: A link of some use, with strategies for dealing with CP coldness, esp in children.

Who reported that was what he was wearing? Assuming it was Louis, I'm now of the feeling that anything Louis says, I need it confirmed by someone else.

I think that having the little girl at the salvage yard is the only way to account for the sounds of a child crying in the car if Hasanni wasn't there, or, as people have theorized, the whole purpose of the trip was to try to ditch a weapon or a body.

I don't know what I think, though, re: Hasanni at the salvage yard. I am inclined to think he was there, and crying, and that's what started it all that day.

Don't know if you seen the new articles I posted, but LR sent an angry text to JC on July 31st.......

....to leave the child alone at a BART platform just 10 days before Hasanni Campbell vanished, according to court documents released today. :furious:

"This is f- over, I will watch her but he will be out on the BART and its your responsibility to hey (sic) him so f - you," Ross texted at 9:50 a.m., police said. The references appear to be to Hasanni and his 1-year-old sister.
:furious:

Sorry if this was posted I'm still have 3 more pages to read to catch back up from being sick. I posted more info & new videos are ppsted in the media thread for everyone!

On a side note - do take a look at the links and info thread, if you haven't. AWC has done a terrific job. It's an amazing digest of information!

Well done, Angel! :Jumpie:

Colombo you said: Why would LR put Hasanni on BART by himself anyway?

I think that was just a threat. BART has CCTV. If he abandoned him at BART he'd be in jail right now.

OR, he might have envisioned him falling on the 3rd rail. He obviously doesn't/didn't see HC the way we see him. Some of us would gladly serve as caretaker for a little boy that through no fault of his own was born into a life of unending tragedies. Stupid man.

FYI: I still have a few more new articles & videos I'm getting them posted right now.

As for the sword, Ross said he had told police about it and that officers had later returned and picked it up. He said he kept it under a mattress.

AND I WAS WORRIED ABOUT A GUN!!! Who keeps a sword under a mattress? How intimidating to sleep at night over a sword with your fiance and with children in the house...yikes!

Some people think in terms of Ross being innocent and others have decided he is guilty - crime is solved from going down the road of different viewpoints. Innocent or guilty and for me...Ross is guilty so that's the side of the coin I will be commenting from.

He is an abusive, resentful narcissist who was sure he beat the LieDT...he murdered Hasanni because, like most other events and people in his life, he couldn't deal with the human aspect...the human condition. He has so little respect for life, other than his own, this child is probably in a garbage bag or dump. :behindbar

Did you see this?

The warrant says Ross told police he had left Hasanni and the daughter home alone on a previous occasion while he went to the bank to conduct a transaction.

ETA: The affidavit says neighbors told Fremont police they hadn't seen Hasanni for at least two weeks before the child was reported missing.

I'm in agreement too that he was there at the salvage yard, he started crying which maybe forced LR to abandon his shopping for parts, that made LR mad and the rest is history. MOO

Bruises? Just a thought.

Kat - sad but very excellent thought to why he would be wearing a sweat shirt and long pants in summer.

I guess that says a lot about Jennifer. A woman willing to sleep with a sword under the mattress! She must have know from the minute HC WAS NOT AT THE BACK DOOR that LWR had done exactly what he threatened to do in the text message. Except the BART platform had changed to a ditch or a gully or another convenient location.

Did she come forward immediately & tell LE about the text message? Doesn't appear she did. Did she continue to live with LWR after HC went missing. She did.

I'd love to have been in the room when they told him he failed.

While I don't believe him in general, I think the description of clothing could be accurate for the following reasons ~ Hasanni was cold due to his CP, the sweatsuit was covering bruises, and maybe JC also saw him in a sweatsuit which is now missing. MOO

I have a thought I cannot shake. Perhaps a beating got out of control, and poor Hasanni was feeling cold from the effects/shock of that, so was put in a sweatsuit - a lot of these stories show that parents think the child will bounce back from beatings, and they really didn't mean for the child to die from it. Perhaps by putting him in a sweatsuit, LR, now calmed down from his rage, was going for the "it'll be alright, just rest" angle. But, then, when the child died, he was forced to describe the clothing correctly, knowing the body would eventually be found, and hoping that the beating would be pinned on an unknown kidnapper.

This is wholly conjecture on my part, though.

LR obviously did not care one whit about these kids. Therefore, JC, by association, did not care enough about them. She knew, if she didn't know, she suspected, and if she didn't suspect, she's been under a rock.

I know, I know, battered womens syndrome, psychological abuse, blah de blah. Leave anyway.

What is pulling at my heart right now is that I know, deep down, I feel that Hassani was probably subjected to some of the some of the worst verbal and psychological abuse, never mind what he might have endured physically. You can't feel the way that LR feels about Hassani (as evidenced by the text) and not treat them horribly. This poor little boy knew that his father didn't want him, his mother couldn't keep him, and his uncle didn't want him. I wonder if he ever even had a real hug in his life, or just the showy ones done in front of social workers.
The above is entirely MOO.

Hassani, whatever the outcome, wherever you are, may you at last be loved and at peace.

New Police Briefing Finally:

Raw VIDEO: Oakland PD Briefing On Missing Boy Auguat 20, 2009 9:47
http://cbs5.com/video/[email protected]

The FBI requested that LWR take the LDT not the local LE.

IMHO this briefing was not so much to give information but to plead with the public to call in tips.

ETA: No leads to what happened or to where Hassani is.
