'Night all ~ prayers for Hasanni! :seeya:

aha--yes--they would find out from checking his banking records...

Why would he leave the children at home when he could go to a drive thru at the bank? Did something come up over the weekend where he needed to get to the bank in a hurry? Was it such an emergency that he couldn't wait until Jennifer had a day off? Maybe he left the baby alone and went somewhere with Hassani, using the bank as an excuse to be out. Just my wandering thoughts.

If we knew what bank, we could figure out what's around it that might have been of interest to Ross. mho

Here's a thought - Hasanni is really small for his age, and not able to jump... I wonder if LR would have put both children in the crib "for safe keeping" while he was out - all if would take is falling onto a hard floor at the right angle to do some serious damage to a head or neck.

The baby was 18mo and I'm sure able to crawl out of a crib and walk all over the place. At 1-1/2 years, a child is hard to keep down. mho

Questions I would love to have an answer to:

1. Why did Ross leave the kids at home when going to the bank - he could have brought the kids with to a drive thru? What was so urgent that he had to bank that day? Could this trip have been a cover for going somewhere else?

2. Who takes care of the dog in the home?

3. Why did Ross go to the salvage yard? Was he looking for patches of car or trunk carpet? I doubt Hasanni was in the car.

4. Did Ross have Hasanni with at the car salvage?

5. Why did Ross open the trunk when dropping the kids off at Shuz? Was it to block the view inside the car? (mo is that Hasanni was NOT in the car)

6. Is there an insurance policy on Hasanni? Is it in a safe deposit box at the bank?

Did Ross ever have a girlfriend in his life before age 37-38?
Did Ross ever have the opportunity to interact with babies or children before meeting Jennifer and taking in Hasanni?
What brought Ross to California and how did he meet Jennifer?

Thanks! We know he's grandiose and narcissistic - if Ross only had a dime to put in, seems he would want the biggest and most recognizable bank there is.

Maybe LE should search the nearest land fill - or the dumpsters around the banks etc. mho

Little Hasanni man, where are you .... you should be found already .... wishing there would be a presser to give us an update on the investigation and where searches are being conducted.

Can I change my theory somewhat? The fact that there was no evidence of a 'traumatic event' in the house or in the car and there was no evidence of decomp in either? That says it's not likely (although not impossible) that no one died in either. Maybe no one did.

Maybe when he disposed of him he was gravely injured but he wasn't ummm......gone yet?

Maybe there were no outward signs of trauma like blood, etc. Maybe the damage was all internal.

Maybe the idea was to pass it off as a kidnapping so that whatever injury he'd sustained, it would be blamed on the kidnapper, who naturally would never be found.

Maybe he had to be at the bank before 2 pm so that a deposit would clear by the next day?

Maybe he left Roxie at exactly the time he was supposed to and wound up 10~15 minutes late getting there because he had to stop and drop somewhere along the way.

Maybe he was smart enough to turn the phone off when he deviated from his normal route by five miles or so to make his drop.

*Hey locals...don't they have traffic cams all over the place on the freeways out there?*

Hi Shutterfly: I'm a bit confused. Where did you hear there was no traumatic event? Or no outward signs of trauma like blood, or even decomp? I thought forensics took the back seat of the BMW, along with carpet, molding etc. I'm not sure they had cadaver dogs on the property, in the house, or in the car, I thought they brought in scent dogs. Did I miss something or is that your summation? Thanks

Does anyone have the exact time he went to the junkyard and the bank? He’s established that Hassani was alive at the junkyard because witnesses saw & heard him crying, if indeed it was not the baby crying and it was Hassani.

But he can’t establish that he’s still alive when he went to the bank. He can’t show up at the bank with only one child. Thus, the “napping story.”

Good afternoon! I too believe the "napping" story was just that ~ a story ~ or reason why he wasn't seen with the children at the bank. Even the drive thru has cameras and it could be seen that both kids weren't with him. So to explain that, the kids had to be left at home. I can't see the urgency in having to go to the bank that afternoon either, especially since it doesn't establish an alibi or a witness that Hasanni was still alive at that time. Knowing when he went there could add to the timeline and figure out how much time elapsed between the salvage yard and the bank. MOO

I wonder where the money from this fundraiser went?
http://www.kcbs.com/pages/5060225.php?contentType=4&contentId=4560165

A little more searching and I found the answer:
http://blog.wristbandsnow.com/
here's part of the story: "Antonio Anabo, owner of Tone's Auto Detail in Oakland, is holding a fundraiser from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. For $20, people can have their cars detailed inside and out. Anabo plans to donate 50 percent of the proceeds to Hasanni's foster parents. "

Here's a second link. It's interesting, in this link one person states that it was street sweeping day the day Hasanni disappeared..that meant that one side of the street was devoid of cars, and the parking situation was even tighter than usual with people driving around looking for spaces. I'm assuming, of course, that this person is giving accurate information. You never know!

Also, again sorry if this was already mentioned, but is there a pool there or in any of the close neighbours' yards?

If there was a homeowner's association there might be a community type swimming pool. Just guessing.

  • #257
Well, as nearly as I have determined, it WAS street-sweeping day on the opposite side of Harwood, but only until 3:30 pm. Not sure about other nearby streets after 3:30 pm.
ForensicsFan mentioned something about that.

50% of the proceeds to LR & JC? Why give them the money? I thought there was a reward fund that donations could be made to, or what am I missing here? :waitasec: MOO

Maybe this was an error in reporting? It seems as if all money should go to the reward fund.

I would hope so! I can't see the need to give them anything. MOO
