FF - I agree with Kat in both of her last posts.

In terms of posting from other sites, it is preferred that you paraphrase and link, rather than cut and paste. However, if a mod doesn't complain, I think you're fine.

As to JC, I know people seem to be more open to her innocence, but I also think most of us are totally open to her guilt. Luckily, I don't see anyone being hostile to the idea that JC might be guilty, even though I know people are willing to give her more benefit of the doubt.

Thank you for the reminder that we don't really have much evidence upon which to base that willingness.

Other than comments from the accused and their advisor or news from volunteer searches, I have a feeling that, for a while, news will be scarce in this case.

After their rather tight lipped comments yesterday, I think LE won't waste time with news conferences until they have something huge to report. They made their position and their intentions crystal clear. They will be working to solve Hasanni's case. Best wishes to LE. May they be suscessful.

I agree - the regular pressers were for when they were still treating the case as a missing child case. Now that they have decided that is not the case, I think they will keep to themselves.

I would think that if LR had left that big box out for garbage pick up it would have raised a flag, especially if it had a fair amount of weight to it. Does Fremont have residential pick up for recyclables? Here, the garbage truck will not pick up boxes and for the recycle truck to pick up cardboard boxes they need to be broken down to a maximum size of 2'x2'.

I think that type of cardboard (corrugated) would not be picked up esp. without being broken down.

But there are lots of places that take it if he were so inclined to recycle.

Not sure what they meant by 'waxed cardboard' unless it's cereal boxes with shiny coating?

Our recycling options here are not great because everything has to be shipped, adding to the cost to recycle.

But if someone saw him moving a stroller box into his car that weighed 30 pounds, they would just think it had the stroller in it.

He could have disposed of the body and the box separately. He won't want anything found with Hassani to link back to him, and the stroller box would (unless he's going to say it was stolen from his driveway (think: Melissa Huckaby, killer of Sandra Cantu)).

Just my :twocents: to add to Whya's post, and to reassure FF that I'm not willing to give JC a free pass just because she's a gurl...with a baby bump...:blushing:

I don't have a bit of trouble 'buying' that Jennifer is involved. It wouldn't shock me in the least. I flip flop back and forth worse than a caught fish (but you knew that). However, with Jennifer I believe it will be one extreme or the other. Totally in the dark, or totally in it up to 'er elbows. If she wasn't directly involved, I just don't see LWR trusting ANYONE with his secret, including Jen. People like him don't trust anyone further than they could throw them and I don't believe he'd risk including her in the cover up if there were any way he could avoid it.

Pardon me for not reading back, but have they released LR as well??? Darn shame if so, but it will be proved eventually. Poor Hasanni, lead them to you baby.

bolded by me.

I think so, too. Here's a possibility: She knows he did away with Hasanni but not too much more. As far as what he did with Hasanni's remains, he would tell her "he took care of it" and no more than that. She might keep trying to find out where he put Hasanni but he isn't going to tell her.

We haven't ever gotten any information about whether or not Jennifer worked between the Walmart visit at 8pm on August the 6th and Monday the 10th, have we? What about the 7th (Friday), 8th(Saturday) and 9th(Sunday)?

Wow, what a really interesting theory. What if this happened:

7/31 LR gets angry over something from the past and they fight. He ends the relay-shun-ship. But that's awfully hard to do with two kids in tow and two demanding schedules. So he says (to paraphrase):

"This is over. Now, I need to get you these kids so I can walk away fuming. I can't just ship a 18 mo old to you on BART, so I'll take AH to class with me. But I can't really take a five year old. So I'm going to drive him to Union City BART station, put him on the train. When he gets to Rockridge station, you walk the two blocks, leave work and go get him."

Of course, this is still reprehensible, even if Hasanni didn't have CP, a five year old would not be able to discern which station to get off at, let alone do it quickly with CP. You're also risking an abduction or him getting lost.

8/6 (Thursday night) Everyone is together at Wal-mart, but perhaps the anger is still there and the fighting continues.

8/7 (Friday) Trouble in paradise again. This time, LR is angry and needs another major action to take to "show" her, or to vent or whatever. He actually follows through and puts Hasanni on BART. Perhaps Hasanni doesn't make the trip to Rockridge station. Now they're screwed. They did something impulsive and regretful and the kid is actually lost or abducted, putting custody of AH and unborn child at risk.

8/8-8/9 (Weekend) LR and JC maybe do some searching of their own, albeit futile. They concoct story/plan.

8/10 (Monday) Next work day, they stage an abduction. No real loss in that they still would like to find the kid. Additionally, the neglect of leaving him by the car for 90 seconds (or five minutes, per LR) is less awful than the BART scenario. No body, no cleaning, no dumping. No Hasanni in Oakland that day.

I still personally think it's probably something worse, because you'd figure by now you'd have copped to it and the desire to find your child (and the intense scrutiny by public and LE) would make you give in and tell the truth. It's just not worth it at this point not to. But I'd say it's a plausible theory, given what we've been shown for sure by LE so far.

And I still think LE has some high cards up their sleeve at least. But this is a really interesting and actually possible scenario.

I don't think Hasanni could have gotten too far on BART by himself without someone , either a kind person or a BART employee, noticing him and taking him under their wing. Also, I'm wondering about security cameras in BART stations and on platforms. I can't believe I've never noticed but I don't take BART very often. They should have them if they don't !

On the other hand there are some skanky people riding BART and something bad could happen. Abduction, etc.

Visit Jennifer Campbell at Shuz in Oakland; buy some shoes!
I just got this message at my Facebook page:

I'm sure you've been following the awful story about the disappearance of Hasanni Campbell. His foster mother is a very dear friend of mine, Jennifer Campbell. She is expecting a child, while desperately searching for Hasanni, and had to go back to work at "Shuz" in Rockridge today, the site of Hasanni's disappearance. She will probably only be able to work a short while but as she is paid mostly on commission, she needs to sell a lot of shoes. The media coverage of this whole tragic situation hasn't made it any easier. I am beseeching you to please visit "Shuz" on College Ave. in Rockridge. Ask for Jennifer Campbell. Buy some shoes. Please.

Good grief...who would send something like that?

I was just about to post that, Paintr... I can't say that's something high on my list this week.

ETA: I'll be interested to see what comments that blog post gets.

I was reluctant to post that. Very poor taste, or maybe I just have a low gag reflex.

Why? You need a new pair of shuz? LOL!

LOL. Maybe I should go in there and pretend I do, just to check out her demeanor. Although, ForensicsFan's wife's "take" on her was good enough for me, really.

Note to self:

In all fairness, JC did not post this ...a friend of hers did. JC might not even know this is out there.

Nah! He wouldn't have been able to resist a cheap shot at LE and whining about his pain and suffering

Well whoever wrote it DID take a cheap shot at the media, and the rest of it sounded a whole lot like whining about pain and suffering to me, ie; poor me
