I'm surprised no media has requested the 911 call. They can do that, right? Although, I'm sure it's just going to be LR doing some good acting

I really think they must have a witness who saw LR driving or pulling into the lot and saw that Hasanni wasn't in the car. IIRC, the windows weren't tinted (or not that much) it would've been easy to see in.

One neighbor--it was a woman, and I can't remember if she lives in the apt. building or in the house next door to the parking lot--said she never for one minute believed that Hasanni was in the car that day. I'm wondering if she might have actually seen the car and noticed Hasanni was not in there? She doesn't directly state that, but maybe she is not revealing it because she could be a witness?

AerialviewofShuzneighborhood.jpg

Here's an aerial view of the neighborhood and it does look like there is a walkway from the small parking area behind Shuz to a larger parking area for the apartments but there may be a gate or fence there. Can't exactly tell from just looking at the map.

IIRC, ForensicsFan said that the little archway in the parking lot, next to the apts (or actually it's part of the apt bldg) dead ends and does not lead to another street.

Hey locals...

Could any of you please tell me about the "580" between Hayward and Oakland as an alternate around using the Nimitz? I'd like to know how traveled this road is and if the traffic is a nightmare around 4 pm on some idle Monday.

"580" is a GREAT alternative to the Nimitz---it would be less jammed up, barring the occasional accident which can happen. Trucks can use the Nimitz but aren't supposed to use 580, as far as I know, so this helps keep congestion down. 580 does jam up at rush hours in the area where it connects with the Bay Bridge and the Nimitz, but once you get through that clog, it's usually an easy trip. Or let's say..easier than the Nimitz!!

If LR used 580 to get to Shuz he probably would have exited in Oakland so he probably would have missed a lot of the rush hour mess.

ITA with everyone: Everything I've read & watched LR & JC seem to be more concerened with what they have gone through....all the turmoil, being questioned & handcuffed...nothing about pleading for a kidnapper to please return Hasanni. :furious:

All the while Hasanni is still somewhere out there....it's been too many days....the longer it is the more upset I am about Hasanni not being found yet! And from what LE has said, I truly believe they have video from camera's in the area, that show Hasanni was never in the car in Oakland that day.

It's just the DA needs more to go on than grainy videos....where a lawyer could say....well he took his seatbelt off & was on the floor of the car or something like that. They need more solid evidence to charge them...IMO

You're all right no mention of PLEASE bring Hasanni back in time for his birthday....Nothing like Kristi Cornwell
case where the very next day, both her mother & her boyfriend, were all over the news media begging for the kidnappers to let her go. :shakehead:

They both in my opinion are still the ones I suspect the most & the the only ones at this point & time. If I'm wrong I'll eat my words...I promise you all & even LR & JC I'll apologize from the bottom of my heart.

Hasanni :sponge: is waiting for you to be found....send some messages to someone near you to walk towards you PLEASE little guy....try your hardest honey.

Wondering.......Worried........Where is Our Little Handsome Guy????

Trying to put myself in their shoes... I'd be more upset & PO'd that they were saying my kid was dead than that they trashed my house. I'd be upset if they were focusing on me but I'd be pizzed that they weren't looking for my child while they were focusing on me. It's all about THEM.

Hi, all. I am just sick over this recent turn of events. I am still confident that Ross has done something with Hasanni. I am disappointed that he and Jennifer had to be released.

I just had to stop even reading the articles for a day or so because I was just heartsick that LR and JC was released. I am almost willing to bet a c-note that the house is now bugged and the BMW has a GPS on it and I am not talking about the one that might have come with the the vehicle.

I want Hasanni to be found and for the sadistic people responsible to be locked away forever. And I do believe that Ross is responsible and Jennifer is covering for him.

'Little Man' is in my prayers every night.

As I stated when Caylee and Haleigh's families said the same thing - I would think I would be relieved they are searching every detail. You never know what might be a clue. Especially in Haleigh's case since she supposedly went missing from the home "Yes, please! Turn everything over and dig through it!"

According to his interview with Nancy Grace, he left Hassani's car door open and the trunk? Why is the trunk open?

Afternoon All,
I just wanted to make sure everyone found the current news thread useful & wanted it. I have no problem opening it or adding what I post in the media thread & the astrologers like to have them for thier use....it's just copy....paste, paste, & paste. I open the Caylee Anthony current thread & it's the same thing I just have to copy one & paste to open the other one.

I just didn't want to clutter the forum if you all didn't feel the need for it.

As most of you know I fly around in WS's checking for any updates for several cases, since I do have the time being disabled & unable to work it gives me the sense & gratification that I'm able to help my fellow WS's members who work &/or have children to tend too everyday.

It's just me at home, besides helping to stop to care for my dad, who had a stroke a few years back when the aides have gone home or my mom is not feeling well. She is npt in the best health either....guess you could call this the house of disabled/nursing home!

I don't mind at all & will continue to open it & update any articles.....add any new videos...docs...photos etc. as they are released.

In fact if I don't check on the aprox. 15 cases that we have threads for everyday several times a day....I feel like something is missing. I sometimes don't know how I do it & still read & follow threads that I do....but somehow my angel wings get it me where I want to go! :floorlaugh:

Back to Hasanni & the 911 tapes...CA isn't like what most of us are use too getting info fast due to the sunshine law. I'm betting they will be released, but not as fast as all of us want it. All of us were wanting the Walmart video.....& low & behold they released it for us. I'm thinking that the 911 tapes are being held back for a reason that we'll soon find out. Maybe a fake panick in LR's voice or some incriminating statements he made in them.

Still so Worried.....Wondering......Where Is Hasanni??????

:sponge: Help Hasanni lead someone to you honey!

It's too many days that you have been gone!

BRB All I have to re-boot....my PC won't let me copy & paste for some odd reason. :banghead: I can't have that going on now can I??? :winko:

P.S. OT/ FYI: If any of you have followed the Haylee Donathon case her grandmother who was due in court next week to fught for custody of her was arrested late last night on drug dealing! :shakehead: At least CPS made the right call in not giving her custody when she was found. What a family all of her kids are in jail...Haylee's mom(Candace) for helping a SO leave the state...Haylee's uncle a SO for helping Potter(Candace's BF) to escape from the half way house & for not passing a drug test....Haylee's dad a SO too back in jail for the same reasons as Haylee's Uncle!!!! & more

I thought it was said that you could walk from the back area of Shuz through a pathway under the arch to the parking area of the apartments, too. Maybe you have to have a key--like a passkey at a hotel, but I was sure it was said the apartment renters could get through there. Maybe I read it wrong, too.

I assumed it was for the stroller.

http://www.eastbayexpress.com/blogs/police__hasanni_was_not_in_oakland/Content?oid=1187526

Acting Oakland Police Chief Howard Jordan said that department investigators "know for a fact" that little Hasanni Campbell didn't go missing from behind a Rockridge shoe store on August 10 as his stepfather claims, according to the Trib and the Chron. In other words, stepfather Louis Ross has lied and is still lying about what happened to the 5-year-old boy. Jordan did not disclose more details on how investigators reached that conclusion, but said Oakland police would not conduct any more searches for the boy unless they got additional credible information about what happened to him.

LE sounds pretty definite in their knowledge of the fact that Hasanni was never there and their knowledge that Ross is lying.

The search of the lake this weekend must be organized by volunteers rather than LE.

My personal opinion is that he left the door and the trunk open to block the view from anyone who happened down the street. Like Whya said, supposedly it was because of the stroller. I don't buy it. That car is a boat on wheels. One of the worst designed by BMW according to most online sources. It's got massive doors and a trunk big enough to house a ball team. With the door open and the trunk, you'd block almost the whole dang parking lot from view from behind.

Sounds to me that they either have a trusted eye witness(es) or they have some video footage. Just possiblities.

Thanks 'lumbo...

I'm looking for a bridge, a nice, tall one. I need one just a couple miles to the east of the 580 with easy access back to the 580, between Hayward and Oakland. I need a substantial body of water under it in an unpopulated area.
I'm looking for one that a person could stop on, get out of the car, and drop something off of without being seen, in broad daylight. So I need one on a straight stretch of road where you can plainly see what's coming in both directions too. Any idea's?

I know, I don't want much, huh?

I think a lot of bridges like that have anti-suicide cameras on them now.

Off topic ...

I recently read an article about a cliff in Japan that was becoming popular for suicide. The authorities came up with the solution of putting guards, armed with rifles, at the cliff top to prevent people from jumping. Couldn't wrap my mind around that one. Wonder if they tried cameras.

Are cameras a deterrent? I have a mental image of despondent people stopping just before the jump to wave to the camera.

Sorry for straying off topic.

There will be a search Saturday at Fremont's Lake Elizabeth at 40000 Paseo Padre Parkway. Volunteers may meet at the main entrance at 9 a.m. Experienced divers are needed to help out. For more information, e-mail [email protected] or call 510-276-9090.

Do we have a map of that area? TIA I'm behind on Hasanni's thread and also I'm terrible with maps. Any insight as to why that location has been chosen?

  • #259
In fact, I only just read where Baby Girl will not be going back to them. Thank god.

No, I don't think they are even meant as a deterrent (except in cities where they are monitored). They just help LE go find the body before it's mistaken as a homicide, thereby saving the police hours and money.
