Thanks, Lovespasta. I'm very surprised. Although I never thought LR and JC seemed like they were capable of buying a home I believed that somehow they did. I am sure that I heard JC in one interview saying something about LR making the down payment.

And how is this Khurana--if indeed still the owner--getting by with not having a garbage account?

Such great info and ideas suddenly! Someone mentioned earlier that we track down where he goes to school because that area would be the most familiar to him.

No garbage account probably means the renter has to pay all utilities. Garbage, sewer, water.

Now they have no income from the kids or the shoe store probably be moving soon. OR they'll wait for eviction. That's the ticket! No rent or garbage bills.

Wonder where they'll work or will they leave the area because of their celebrity status?

bolded by me.

I haven't been in the rental market for 23 years or so--things have changed !!

Do we even have any confirmation that LR was in fact going to school? I've just kinda got the whole Anthony thing still rolling around in my head. No classmates or instructors have come forward to vouch for his character that I'm aware of and he's not spoken of going to school in more than vague detail. Isn't that odd if he was so proud of going back to school?

ETA: I don't count the "two post" poster from Aug 14th.

This is from the title company now. It has KHURANA,ASHISH; KH***A,RI*U as the current owners.

Lender Name BANK OF AMERICA NA
Lender Type Bank
Borrowers Name KH***NA,A***H; K***R**U
Vesting Trust

Legal Description
Lot: 34 Tract No: 5524
City/Muni/Twp: FREMONT

Hey Thanks Lovespasta!!! I thought this was the case! Along with the rent maybe they are expected to pay all utilities including the trash. When I called customer service about the trash, I was asked if I owned or rented...I said I 'owned' the home. I'll call again on Tuesday and mention that I rent and see if there is a different scenario for renters.

Remember FF put up the name of a computer company in Fremont where Jennifer worked? A second job maybe? I'm going to check to see if the name of the people who bought the home have anything to do with the company! Finally we have it right! Thanks again!

Columbo I'm not a mod in anyway shape or form. But, it is my understanding (from having several of my own posts adjusted by mods when I first joined and seeing others also) that we are strongly advised not to use full names of ppl that are not directly associated with a case, and/or haven't been named in the media as associated with a case.

If I missed the media reporting on these ppl please forgive me for making the suggestion. I just wanted to be a "mother hen" and make sure we don't get in trouble KWIM?

To the other poster back in this thread a page or so:
As for the poster that was embarrassed for having a post or two pulled. Don't be. It's okay. It happens quite often. We all should just look after one another :)

The media has never mentioned their names; they are innocent bystanders. I just forgot about the rules---please keep on being a mother hen (as you call it!:) ) . I appreciate any help I can get!

The home on Roxie was bought on June 6, 2008. At some point, it was rented to Ross and Jennifer (I hope). Do I remember correctly they have lived in the home about 8 months?

Jennifer had a great 5 year track record at Shuz (manager)
Got engaged
rented a home
started school
Jennifer pregnant with 1st child (now 6 months pregnant)
were designated 'foster parents' to Jennifer's niece and nephew, nephew has CP, and considered to be a 'special needs' child.

And in a couple weeks, lost it all. That's very sad! :ouch:

At the bottom of Columbo's post that you would like to quote (lower right hand corner) there is a button that says "quote". If you click on that a new window will open for you to post your response to Columbo.

For quoting multiple posters in one response:

There is a button to the right of the quote button that looks like a quotation mark on a piece of paper. Click on that on each of the posts you want to quote in your response. When you get to the last post of the multiple posts you want to quote, click on that button and then click on the quote button...they will all pop up and be in the window where you want to post. You can then add what you want in between each of those quoted posts.

To bring another post from another thread, here is what I do, I go to that post in the other thread, click on the number at the very top of the post which is located at the left of the alert triangle. This will open that post in a new window. Copy the link to that post and bring it to where you would like to post.

Hope that helps. There is a forum here called forum finesse that answers a lot of those questions too.

thanks Kat. When I get to the last quote I want to quote you say to click on 'that' button and than click on the quote button...what is 'that button' and how do people quote just a couple sentences from each. TIA

When you hit the symbol with " do you copy the part you want? How do you do that multiple times? And at the end what do you hit so that they all appear. I'm still lost. TIA

Click on the Button that has the quotation marks for each and every post you want to show in your new post. When you get to the last quote you want to include and you have clicked on that button with the quotation mark, you then click on the button that says "quote". It should all pop up unless I'm being a knucklehead in my explanation LOL :) Sorry I wasn't clear.

As for quoting another poster but wanting to only quote a few sentences of their post. Okay, you will see this at the beginning of the quote (in the window where you are going to post a response:
and then you will see this at the end of a quote:

[ and then a /Quote] I had to add spaces in there it's quoting me all over the place and not making sense.

As long as you don't delete any part of those two things I just showed you, the post will show as a quote.

Then you go into the text of the quote and remove whatever part of the quote you want to, when we do that to other posters posts we indicate to anyone reading that we have done so by usually stating: snipped or snipped by me.

Also when we bold a sentence or in anyway alter the other posters post during a quote we indicate we have done so, that is not TOS but just considered a courtesy.

This is where I learned how do to all that :)

I'd think the owner would want to cover the garbage/sewer/water in order to try to ensure the house is kept up in good order and include it in the rent. Usually the tenant only pays electric/gas. MOO

My thoughts on LR going back to school at age 38 for a completely different field would be that if he was laid off, drew unemployment, and was recently seeking an extension of benefits he may have qualified for a job retraining grant.
