HAYWARD, Calif. -- A vigil for missing 5-year-old Hasanni Campbell of Fremont Saturday night at the Westminster Hills Presbyterian Church marked two months since the boy disappeared.
I really wonder what happened to him. Based on the facts, it sure seems as if LR (and or JC?) did something to him, and given LR's overconfident attitude, he must have disposed of him very sneakily and efficiently (ugh, sorry to put it that way).
Somehow, the truth always seems to surface eventually, even if it takes years. It's too frustrating, though.
Are LR and JC attending these vigils?
I agree with you, on all points (even those it hurts to think about.)
Maybe I'm an overly optimistic optimistwaitasec
...but I truly believe that someday, somehow, someone will slip up, LE will get that "one solid lead", or someones search will be successful....and Hasanni will be found, all the facts surrounding his disappearance will come to light, and justice will be done......I *have to believe that...I can't *not believe it......
rayer:
Worst case? Hell hath no furry like a woman scorned. That relay~shun~ship as LR calls it, certainly won't last forever. If we don't find out before then, I think we'll find out when he ditches her and that baby.....or when he starts threatening to take her baby away from her. And that's IF the state doesn't step in and take that one also.
Vigil held in Hayward for Hasanni Campbell

HAYWARD, CA (KGO) -- Members of a church in Hayward held a candlelight vigil for Hasanni Campbell this weekend to mark two months since the young boy disappeared.
"I want people to keep on looking for him and not give up hope, and keep your eyes open for him," his Hasanni's grandmother Pamela Clark.
SM has said that she wishes LR and JC would participate in the searches. Maybe I shouldn't say this, but I wonder how she really feels about them-- are they innocent, etc?
IIRC, and it took a bit for me to remember this, but they feel the searchers are looking for a body, and they (JC and LR) are looking for a live Hasanni. Although I don't know what their search for live Hasanni entails.
Although maybe the searchers mean "If we haven't found his body in the places we've searched, then he may be alive."
Sadly, I think they just aren't searching in the right place. Then again, LR could have sold him, not killed him. How awful is it that I'm hoping it's the former? UGH.
Searching parks and things for a living five year old who disappeared two months ago... What do they suspect? He fell asleep under a tree? Got preoccupied with his toys and lost track of time?
I am unclear as to what the heck is going on with this case, frankly. At this point, if Hasanni is still alive, it is doubtful he is still in the area, and, if he is, he isn't running around where they are searching, so what's the point?
Perhaps they are looking for *signs* of Hasanni... or are just keeping up the front that they are looking for a living child.
I think when LE arrested LR/JC (in what seems ages ago) they pretty much are convinced our little Hasanni is dead. The frustration here is nothing has been released as to where LR/JC were between when Hasanni was last seen on 8/6, such as cell phone pings and when he was reported missing. . All we really have are some of what LR was doing on the day Hasanni was reported missing, with many time lapses. And even with the trip from home up to supposedly drop the kids off at Shuz he could've stopped off almost anywhere and disposed of Hasanni. If only we had more information! I honestly think the searchers are just going on the same possibilities we thought of two months ago. And maybe he could've been left in a park. Killers have done that before with their victims.Searching parks and things for a living five year old who disappeared two months ago... What do they suspect? He fell asleep under a tree?
