I think a cold case is where LE hasn't found the perp. That's not true in this instance.

It seems as if it takes less time now for missing childrens cases to be come cold. I really wonder why.

With the earlier arrest of LR & JC, I think LE believes LR is the one who did something to little Hasanni but they just don't have any evidence or proof he did. So sad there may never be justice for our little man. MOO

Tickets still available for Hasanni Campbell fundraiser

There are still tickets available for Sunday's fundraiser for missing Fremont boy Hasanni Campbell.

To keep his name in the news and raise money for search efforts, organizers are planning a fundraising dinner from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Garre Vineyard and Winery, 7986 Tesla Road in Livermore.

Sherri Miller ... planned the roast beef and chicken dinner at the winery. She is expecting about 150 people for the four-course, $30-a-plate dinner but would like to sell more tickets, she said.

There will be entertainment from Shot Gunn Haze, the Rave Ups, and a couple of the original members of Santana, Miller said. Marco Valley and Kelly Lynn Flynn, soloist musicians, will play during dinner, she added.

The event will include a prize drawing.

Miller needs additional auction items and desserts donated for Sunday.

Sure looks like it.....

....but (and this is only my opinion) it looks more like a "sterile, token site" dedicated to bring in funds rather than a site dedicated to looking for an adorable lost little boy.

There are no pictures besides the one, no details given of the circumstances surrounding Hasanni's disappearance, very little information at all, in fact, it's even lacking mention of Hasanni's "braces/afo's"!

Also - *if one came across this site and by some miracle *had information - there's no number to call - you have to contact via email!

"Sadly lacking" does not even begin to describe it - it is what it is -a smokescreen...

But then again....if it is keeping Hasanni's name "out there"...then I can't complain too much, I guess......

.....it's just that my heart hurts thinking about that one remaining little lonely Spongebob Costume hanging on a store rack somewhere, endlessly waiting for that one special little boy to come along and wear it on Halloween....only he won't...... :cry:

Yikes .. yikes I agree - there are no members on the facebook site. There seems to be one driving force to try and find our little man.

Wishing there was a break in Hasanni's case - let's hope LE is working really hard behind the scenes.

I admit that following Hasanni's case hasn't been at the forefront of my attention of late - do we know if foster mom has birthed the new baby yet and whether there have been any rulings on whether her and LR will be able to raise the baby?
