Age, Height, Weight, Hair and circumstances match:

• 5'3"; 130lbs; Brown hair
• left home (Pennsylvania) in 1979, and told family she was planning to head to California
  • had reportedly left home before due to marriage issues and was located in Yuma, Arizona. Returned home to try to raise her 5 children, lived as a transient during this time, and then left with her 'boyfriend' (unidentified marine) to California, saying she'd return when she had her life together.
• Had one leg possibly shorter than the other.

However, misses include:

• had screws/plates in right leg from motorcycle accident (hence why it is strongly believed Nellie is instead 1454UFCA, but unfortunately, DNA couldn't be extracted from these remains to test this match)
• had numerous scars from skin grafts (not mentioned on doe)
• gap between front teeth (not mentioned on doe)
• There's no indication of whether our doe had had children
• doesn't look similar to the recon, although both do have prominent chins

The metal plate in her right leg and the similarities to another Jane Doe found in California at this time make this match unlikely, but I do find it odd that this hasn't at least been raised before as a potential and tested due to the complete appearance match and coincidence of the leg/location.

II wonder if there is any news about her; there has been no update, and the DDP began working on her family tree in 2020–2022.

According a 2017 Santa Fe newspaper article, when Ann Linda Riffin left home, her family thought she was going to Pennsylvania. Maybe she stay in PA for a while then moved on to New Mexico.

Ann Riffin has been excluded.

This missing California woman, Debra Kay Manial, fits for proximity, timeframe, and physical info. Debra wore acessories with unicorns and colored stones. The Jane Doe had crystals in her pocket. That could be consistant with someone into the mystical, fantasy etc.
Debra has not been ruled out on NAMUS. What do you think?
