So... he was one of the volunteers searching for her, and she was dead inside his house the whole time. Yet after 11 hours of a standoff he just walks out with them??
I'm surprised he didn't come out with guns blazing, must be some pretty good LE to talk hm out of committing "suicide by cop." That's getting to be a common thing nowadays, I hear.

So if he is telling the truth about her stopping over, once he killed her he had to get rid of the vehicle, which he tried to do. Then he is still stuck figuring out what to do with poor Heather. I'm going to guess this wasn't a preplanned murder.

In his mug shot he looks worn down. Not smug or satisfied like a lot of these creeps do.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. Another young and beautiful mother stolen from her family . I just can't wrap my brain around the apparent lack of impulse control these perps have. Why do they have no regard or respect for human life?

HOLLISTER, Calif- Police say that the body found in the home of suspect David Quiroz has been positively identified as Heather Alaina Carroll.

The 25-year-old mom died of blunt force trauma and strangulation, said police.

Good Gravy! I've heard of perps searching for their victims after they've hidden them somewhere, but I have never heard of a perp going on a search while the victim's body is in his place of residence.

Just when I think I can't hear of anything more depraved and cruel, I unfortunately hear something I never heard before. smdh....

I agree.
I am a bit confused about the comment regarding the coroner saying she could have died Wed/Thurs or Fri. Not sure why they couldn't pinpoint it more given how quickly she was found???
