Her van has to be somewhere. It surely wasn't driven off road inside the actual park and it must not be at any parking lot or turn-out, or rangers would see it.

So is the direction of travel from Big Bear towards JT?

This is one of those cases where, if family had the passcode to her phone account, there could be helpful info.

According to the person who organized the fundraising for a PI, the dogs are fine. Nearly $17k has been raised. Now family and friends are waiting for SAR to reach Holly.

She seems to have been hiking down from Big Bear area. Trying to find a status on the dogs. She had to be outside of town limits and on the way down when she got stuck.

If that report is accurate she was in Riverside County coming down a different mountain entirely!
