I am happy to see some new eyes and posts on this thread! Welcome!! I am not sure about Fawn, but Darci does seem to have the wrong nose type. From what has been said by those that have seen the (unreleased) PM photo...she definitely has a very upturned nose.

As for MontanaMan, I think he was dealing with some personal stuff. Hopefully, he will one day be able to make it back here...

Would be nice if he'd come back but at this point; I doubt it will be any time soon. He's offered everything he can remember about her; it has to be hard on him to not know more. I'm sure he feels helpless.

I've PM'd & emailed a few times. I suggested he get in touch with LE to ask to see the post mortem photo. That's the only way he will know if she is his Andrea or not.

Perhaps the reason he hasn't been back to the thread is because there isn't computer access where he is presently located. I remember reading that he was dealing with some health issues. It's entirely possible that he succumbed to them.

(I'm a nurse and a large portion of my clientele is elderly, palliative care or hospice. I'm not (excessively) morbid. I think.)

If I remember correctly, he stated that he was living quietly in Montana due to a chronic health condition or illness in a few of his posts. I'll try to find the post where he said that.

Her car was found abandoned in Huntington Beach in 1989, 3 years after she went missing.

I saw that. I wish people wouldn't do that. It has not been established that Andrea Doe is "Big Mouth Andrea". This person is declaring it so without any basis in fact.

Not that I support that, but if it eliminates or confirms that Big Mouth Andrea is Andrea Doe, then so be it.

MontanaMan hasn't been online since March 8. The terminal disease he mentioned may be a cause for concern.

Has anyone considered the painstaking task of checking out yearbooks of schools in the Seattle area for anyone who may resemble Andrea Doe, to follow up on MontanaMan's lead? I know it's already like finding a needle in a haystack, plus she may have been from the east coast, but there's a tiny glimmer of hope it might work. She apparently looked like she could be around high school or college age.

I knew he was fine a few months ago; if anything; he's helping his friend that is sick too. I will try to contact him again.

MontanaMan gave us his first name (I remember it because it's the same as my husband's). It shouldn't be impossible to determine if he's still with us.

I'm going to ask on FB if any of my husband's friends recognize Andrea. He was in the punk scene in Seattle in the 80s. He said punks and goths didn't really mix much, but who knows, it's worth a shot.
