Ignore this if someone has already brought this up, but has anyone ever considered Aundria Bowman for this Doe?

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/bowman_aundria.html

She is considered a runaway.

There is a slight resemblance between her and the sketch, especially in facial shape and around the brows, I think. Height is off by an inch, weight is off by a few pounds, but a year's interval might account for that. And surely a year would be more than enough time to make it to California from Michigan?
There's a big difference in the age, though- Aundria would have been 15 at the time of Doe's death.

Yes, as indicated earlier in the thread, she has been ruled out.

I'll give you a quick run down-
Her adoption records were unsealed & her biomom found because they thought she was WI - Raymond (Racine County) - WhtFem 199UFWI, 14-25, July'99

From her mouth-

I am replying to the speculation that CR could be Aundria Bowman. Her mother has been located and has submitted a DNA sample it will be compared to CR ASAP. I believe a match is not likely. My source of information says the CR's killer is in jail and
the Holland police are on the right track as to who cause the disappearance of Aundria.

Links below are what I put together for her birth mom last week to add to her sig.

If you're on FB show her mom support & like her page please

Thanks, Carl and Rose.
I'm sorry, I had not seen where Aundria had been ruled out prior to my post.

Back to the drawing-board, I suppose.

It's frustrating for all of us that some NamUs pages are not updated with the rule out information

No worries, Aundria Bowman seems like the most likely candidate.

I sometimes wonder if maybe the adoption records were somehow wrong and Andrea Doe really was Aundria Bowman. But that's just my love of conspiracy theories talking.

The circumstances are quite similar, but having seen the postmortem photo, I can see that she definitely is not Aundria Bowman. Aside from that their noses are entirely different, they don't look anything like each other in an overall sense either.

I realize this isn't much, but it's taken from the preview article from a Virginia news archive(bbm)

"The woman told an acquaintance in California that she had left her adoptive parents, with whom she had had a falling out, somewhere in Virginia to travel, said Maureen Albrecht, an investigator with the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department south of Los Angeles..."

Could the falling out be related to the lack of a missing person's report?

Not sure how I feel about this one, but has a somewhat similar nose and coloring.

Last seen in Seattle
Age last seen 19 to years old
Age in 1990: 26
Height (inches) 63.0

Patricia Osborn was presumed to be a victim of Gary Ridgeway (i.e., the Green River Killer).

Holy cow, I thought they identified Patricia Osborn years ago..

But like Carl said, Patricia is thought to be one of the dozens of women Gary Ridgway preyed on.

Boy the neck looks similar in thickness. Carl what about that right earlobe?
This girl is similar enough to raise my eye brow.

RE: Rhonda Yocom

I would have thought the tattoos and scarring on the legs would rule her out? Seems a little short, as well.

Her eyes are blue though.

Boy so many could be's! Yet obvious no matches. Since Carl saw the Post Mortum Pictures and Carl knows what he is doing I am pretty confident that if Andrea was Asian or African American he would have taken notice of that fact so it is a good bet that Rhonda Yocum and Patricia Obsborn are not Andrea. So fustrating! Things like eye coloring, height even scaring can be subjective but I think race is usually more concreate.

It's sort of hard to go off a picture that only one person has seen. I'm sure Carl would gladly share it if he was allowed, I wonder why the big secrecy with it. Even black and white or the injury area photoshopped would be better than nothing.

for whatever reason, the investigating agency did not want the photo publicly disseminated. usually that's on account of a criminal investigation (which is not applicable here) but nonetheless, that was the condition under which they released the photo to Carl. better that than their just keeping it in a file sight unseen.

The state of California actually has a state law prohibiting the public dissemination of postmortem photos by coroner's offices. That is why Los Angeles County pulled all their postmortems off their website. Some jurisdictions (e.g., San Bernadino) refuse to comply, but apparently Orange County is complying with the law.

I'd love to show it to you all, but if I did, the chances of me ever seeing another would be greatly diminished.

I didn't know that, thanks Carl, learn something new every day.

I do understand the intent of the law and I'd rather you still be able to view the photo.
