Circumstances of Recovery On 06/01/2024 the decedent was seen in the Pacific Ocean near Imperial Beach and he was noted to be in distress. Lifeguards responded and extricated the decedent from the water, and he was transported to a local hospital. Despite all efforts, the decedent could not be revived and his death was pronounced shortly after arrival.
