No response.

But the UID and Jesus both have DNA in the system so I assume it's an automatic ruleout?

If anyone is interested "who is Dayani Cristal" is on Univision tonight at 6p EST. They find a decomposed body in the desert here in the US and retrace his steps. He was a Central American immigrant. :( it's so sad they can't do films on all bodies found or help give them their names back

"The person appears to be in his mid-teens to early-20s and likely drowned after crossing the border illegally", according to the Imperial County Coroner's Office.

I know the cause of death is sometimes unknown, BUT wouldn't there be evidence in the lungs that our UID drowned?

I think they're saying he drowned, and it was likely after he crossed the border illegally. Giving insight into circumstances, not COD. Poorly worded.

This could be valuable: http://colibricenter.org/

They featured the Colibri center on Quien Es Dayani Cristal last night -- huge project cataloging personal effects and bodies found in AZ

This is an excellent (but sad) documentary on how difficult it is to identify UIDs belonging to undocumented migrants...and it shows that there are people out there that do care and are doing everything they can to put names to these people.

Chico is size small in Spanish so maybe?

Yeah I wasn't sure what CH 34-36 stood for -- chest? Child? Even then, translating either of those to Spanish would be pecho and nino, so..?

Maybe she has migrants in her family, maybe because they are a challenge.
