What a brave brother to rescue his sister and himself. Picturing them hiding under a car in 20 degree weather is so sad and touching.

Why do people who have children adopt. The financial gain (stipend) cannot be that great can it?

A nurse’s assistant from Palmdale was sentenced Wednesday to seven years to life in prison for torturing her two young adopted children.

Ingrid Ivenia Brewer pleaded no contest on Dec. 15, 2014 to two counts of torture in connection with the abuse, a news release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office stated.
