Fresno County Sheriff’s homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in an ongoing investigation on a cold case involving a victim who was found burned to death in an orchard on May 6, 2006.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office recently identified the victim as Jack Dupee, 24, of Livermore.

Dupee’s body was located near Interstate 5 and Shields Ave., west of Firebaugh.

Jack Michael Dupee Junior last saw his mom in April of 2006.

"We didn't hear from him. He was supposed to help me move. He only had a cell phone and after a week or so of calling him, it would go straight to voicemail," Carlina Rivera said.
