I have a lot of questions about his version of the story. The Missing Person Flyer says he left her at the Santa Monica Pier. It says they had an altercation there and he left then came back later and she wasn't there---[but she also supposedly told him she wasn't going back with him---maybe he reached her by phone?]

Anyhow, on the King5 News FB article, the boyfriend in question claims he left her at the McDonalds on Van Nuys and Laurel Canyon. ???? That is about 45 minutes away because of 405 fwy traffic. Maybe more.

How did he leave her at Santa Monica Pier if he left her at a Hollywood McDonalds?

Hey, so I myself actually live in Pacoima, about 2 mins away from that McDonald’s I frequent. So one, it’s not in Hollywood at all, it’s in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, and the area is a lower to middle class area. Certainly a fair amount of criminal activity here too. To me it seems odd that they would have ended up here unless he was looking for a drug connection to buy.

“When they woke up, Jackie was mad. Jackie got out of his car and was throwing things at him, so he drove away. A short while later, Jackie sent him a message to come back and get her,” the sheriff’s office said.

According to the acquaintance, when he returned, she was gone and he was unable to find her, so he returned to Port Angeles. He added that he got messages from her phone during the beginning of September, but nothing since.

Well, Occam's razor thinks the same way. They have known one another for many years. So, friends, at . He drove her to Santa Monica. And then they quarreled, and he left her there? Without means of transportation, totally alone? Either he doesn't care at all, or he easily gets angry in "my way of highway" style, which might also be indicative of the personality. IMHO.

OR, that's not what happened.

We've all seen this story, although it seems to usually involve a woman exiting a car in a lonely desolate area in the middle of the night.

Santa Monica isn't even remotely close to 13770 Van Nuys Blvd. in Pacoima. How bizarre.

Where he left her at the junction of Van Nuys Blvd. and Laurel Canyon Blvd. is actually 24 miles north-east of Santa Monica!
What were they doing that far north up in San Fernando Valley?

Were they on their way TO Santa Monica or on their way BACK? And how long was the trip for?

It's a long journey to/from Washington State. Where else did they stop off at on the way?

And why were they sleeping in the car? Was that a permanent thing on this trip? Did they not have any money for a hotel/motel or anywhere to stay?

Family searching for missing Port Angeles woman last seen in Santa Monica

Jackie Cary, 33, traveled to California with a man she's known for years. The man returned without Cary and her family has not been able to contact her.

I visited about 10 years ago, there's a small amusement park, food stalls, sun, ocean views.

true, people don't go just to see the pier. But tourists who want to see Santa Monica will usually walk around in the pier area as well. It's kind of an iconic location. I lived in Venice/Santa Monica for 22 years, and every time peeps came to visit, we'd end up at the pier at some point.

His initial story was about him dropping her off at the pier, or she stopped off mad at the pier, and it seems to be complete baloney.

It seems that LE knows that the day Jackie was supposedly left behind in Pacoima was August 29, 2022 (flyer). Most likely through CT-TV footage at the McDonald's. They also must have access to the phone (records) of Mr. K.C, to know she send a message to him.

I'm not sure where the info comes from that KC first allegedly said he left her at the Pier and she was last seen somewhere in August/September. Did he delete her messages like the one she asks to come back and get her so he couldn't check for the right date?

Did media "run" with info provided by the family at first and they didn't knew actually what went down and provided all they knew, heard and thought at the time. Making statements look like contradicting. It feels like tiptoeing around the facts here and we should be aware of this.

This would mean a whole month without contact/knowing where she is (8/29 - 10/6 2022)? Was there any sign of life during September? At what date did KC returned to Port Angeles, WA? Are they sure this was her messaging? What was the content? Did she say were she was? Demeanor? Could LE get a ping and a location of her phone?

The text beneath are my thoughts only, knowing about addiction because it's close to home. Although it's sounds harsh there is no judging meant at all. And IMO we shouldn't, because it's a terrible decease. The terrible and heartbreaking reality is that this things happen.

Could she have relapsed from substance abuse? People do crazy things to get a fix and are very vulnerable to be victimized by bad people. Considering her age she is not your average trafficking victim, but she could be considered a good "money-maker".
