She could have been awarded custody if the father simply failed to appear at the custody hearing.

That’s very true. So the judge may not have even been aware of her history. But I’m confused as to why she was allowed to be a mom again in the first place, by her husband and the family.

They confirmed the preliminary examination hearing to begin today at the hearing yesterday so it is set for today. I’ll check back tomorrow to see if there are any updates to the docket.

Update to docket this morning - They set a new Hearing on Doctor’s Report to be heard on 6/29/21 at 8:30 am. That’s all there is for now.

ETA: I can’t see what happened yesterday as I get errors when trying to see past events. Can only see the next hearing date.

I couldn’t get into the court site this morning. Looks like the hearing on doctor’s report was pushed out to 7/23/21 at 8:30am. They also set a PC995 motion hearing that same day. It’s a motion to dismiss per my research. I’ll check back then.
