The pet owner in Modesto, California, was digging a hole for her deceased cat on Saturday afternoon when she made the macabre discovery in her backyard. The investigators are also receiving tips from local families who say they have a missing relative. One of those identified as missing vanished about five years ago and lived near the house where the remains were found,

The human remains found in a Modesto backyard have been identified as 26-year-old missing man Jacob Sutton-Bubeck from Modesto.

The man, who was also known as Cheddar, was reported missing on February 10, 2018, by his brother, who last saw him on January 25 of this year.

Detectives have concluded that this is a homicide case, but they are not yet releasing how Sutton-Bubeck died, citing that it is something that would only be known by someone with intimate knowledge of this crime.

Two Arrested For The Murder Of Man Found Buried In Modesto Backyard

Two people have been arrested in connection to the murder of Jacob “Cheddar” Sutton-Bubeck whose body was discovered buried in a backyard on Monday.

Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert “Animal” Winswell, 53, and Rebecca Garcia, 44, both of Modesto in connection to the murder of Sutton-Bubeck.
