Easy, I sent WS, an email yesterday Morning they have NOT responded

They don’t always respond immediately. This website is owned by one person with lots of responsibilities and volunteer mods. Please try again after today. As I mentioned on Janet Egan’s thread, WS does it’s best to present facts and stays away from rumors. That’s why it’s respected by LE and journalists. :)

Agree. My information is not rumor and I am a journalist

Sorry, and I'm confident they were cashed right there in Hoopa
Ok do you have the money order reference numbers/counterfoils, and proof of who cashed it?
If so then LE should pursue it. If you cannot provide links, it is classed as rumour, unless you become a Verified Insider, of course. Or get MSM to do an article. Did they steal the key from JJ in your opinion?

Yes I have the reference numbers, I have actual pictures of each money order/gram. I'm very aware, as a journalist what a rumor is. I have evidence. Yes, IMHO his killers took the key from Jeff's dead body. I know the mailbox was emptied because Jeff mailed himself the money order/grams to himself in Hoopa and it was empty by the time the family checked on it

Yes, while something may actually be a fact with evidence, and may be quite believable (as is the case here), WS classifies it as rumor unless it’s backed by MSM links or LE statements...or presented here by a Veriifed Insider. Jeff’s sister is verified and could post this info. It may seem like a small technicality, but on the Internet anyone can say anything and unless admin verifies that they are who they say they are, WS as a website views such statements as rumors. It’s not a perfect system, but I think we all agree that WS would be just another free-for-all say-whatever-you-want website without it.

I am curious about the origin of these money orders. Neither Moneygram nor Westrn Union show a payment location near Hoopa, and to the best of my knowledge, neither they nor Western Union would send money orders to a USPS box. Are you sure these were MG/WU money orders?

How do you know J didn't cash them himself then? If you are a journalist, why can't you have a MSM organisation like Lost coast do a feature about what you have found out?

It would also be publicity for the case.

You can also report your own post(s) explaining you have emailed about being a VI. Just because posts haven't been deleted doesn't mean anything. Mods don't have time to read every post and Admin and Tricia are extremely busy with this new system.

All MHO of course..

As I understand Jeff's business, it was cash only so he purchased money orders with his cash from various places and mailed them to his PO box. I guess he may have had additional boxes elsewhere.

Very busy back here behind the curtain :) We have many requests and lots going on with the new software. The Admin who is looking after verifications will be in touch as soon as they are able. Until then, please don't post information as fact without MSM or LE to substantiate.

Thanks.

Per Post #287:

I doubt the PO box rent was paid 3 months at a time. USPS rents boxes 6 months or a year at a time, as this link states way down in the fine print. PO Boxes Online Frequently Asked Questions

Whatever happened to Jeff Joseph one thing is certain: Not only did his body disappear, but so did his green Toyota Rav4. And if there is evidence pointing to foul play, why has law enforcement not changed his case from missing person to criminal investigation with possible foul play.

People do disappear, but Toyota Rav4's probably take more time to deteriorate to nothing. The fact that no one has found his car on land always made me think it is hidden somewhere, like under water. I did not realize how vast and remote the area is in which he disappeared.

Whether it is an accident or foul play, the question remains: Where is Jeff Joseph? And where is his green Toyota Rav4?

I suspect that the Rav4 was pushed over a steep embankment and covered with branches...well hidden. Jeff may have been buried nearby. This was done in the case of a couple murdered in WA. There was plenty of time to accomplish this.
John Reed sentenced to life in prison in slaying of Oso couple, his former neighbors

I’m not sure what criteria are needed for LE to change a missing person case to a criminal investigation of suspected foul play. Apparently LE does not feel there is enough evidence to do that. There are only three options: accident, suicide or murder when someone is missing and presumed dead. It’s not likely Jeff is just voluntarily missing IMO. But I’m not sure why murder is suspected. I’d like to see that evidence listed.

Very good observation and points

Did he say they actually did meet up? Who was last to see Jeff?

I don’t think we know the answer to either question for sure, unfortunately.
