The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office seeks help in solving Jeffrey Askren’s 1984 disappearance.

''CALAVERAS COUNTY, Calif. — The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information in the decades-old disappearance of Jeffrey Askren, who went missing on May 1, 1984.
Askren, who was 30 years old at the time, never arrived at his job in Santa Clara. Days later, his 1978 red Honda Accord was found abandoned on Winton Road, east of West Point in Calaveras County.''
'Askren was described at the time as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. He would be 72 years old today.'
