Jeremy Whisennand, 41, was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in Blythe, California, the Colorado River Sheriff's Station said in a Feb. 21 social media post. Before arriving in Blythe, he had driven from his home in Tehachapi, California to Yuma, Missing in America Network posted.

The vehicle purchase from a "friend" initiallly stood out to me as he charged with driving with suspended plates for a former vehicle (fine has been settled). However, further checking showed that the registration hold for that vehicle had been released in October so perhaps he was just wanting a newer/different vehicle. But the vehicle being found is concerning, he didn't exhibit outward signs that we know of, for self harm, so I'm learning towards foul play unfortunately.
