On one of the call spread sheets (extended with tower locations) in evidence, there were codes, VM for Voice Mail and I think VMR for Voice Mail Retrieval. It was explained on the stand, can't remember what witness. The short versions had it typed on the specific call line like below:

Right, I think it was VMB <<< Voice mail box on Chase's records. But if Chase was calling Joey's phone and trying to get into his VM's, I think it would just show as him calling Joey. To delete all of those messages though, I do think it would require some time. JMO

But they didn't repaint cabinets and walls? If so,one would think they may have found some evidence of blood somewhere, and they didn't.

This is from the preliminary hearing, but this is what was said at trial too, was just easier to find at the moment lol

Q What conditions about the house had changed, according to them?

A They removed all the property, any leftover property that was in the residence. They changed the entire downstairs flooring. Put in hardwood flooring and changed the baseboards. They painted the walls in the downstairs bathroom and changed the flooring to tile.
For the most part, that was it.

There is no evidence at trial, to date, of an alternative accounting system.

Rather Chase himself said he was given the cheques by Joey on the 4th. And we know this was a lie. He printed them on the 5th.

So you guys can speculate any kind of other arrangements here on WS - but personally, I will await actual evidence from the defence.

Why couldn't he receive the blank checks on the 4th and print them on 5th? And how has it been proven that he was in the house on 4th? The video of the car leaving has likely had the time misinterpreted so pretty flimsy evidence - could have been anybody's car.

I am not sure what time frame you are referencing with regard to the calling Joseph only 2X, but the cell phone guy, Boles, was asked how many times Merritt called Joseph’s cell from 1/15 to 2/3 and the answer was 230X and he also asked how many times from 2/4 to 2/15 and the answer was 39X. It is on day 23 and the prosecution called it a “toll analysis” to 949-295-7451, which was Joey’s cell number.

I'm not sure we can call that evidence now? lol The jury didn't see it... the prosecution isn't calling him...

I would love to know why LOL I think they were afraid of what he was going to say, or what else he had looked at and didn't tell them... IIRC in that hearing, there were some questions about the wheel base not lining up. I did kinda laugh when Dr. Rudin told McGee, let me know what you want me to look at and I will LOL Maybe he did? haha

You can mass delete by clicking the voice mail icon (bringing all VM history up), clicking "delete/trashcan" "All" and "delete/trashcan". Takes maybe 3 seconds?

Someone has said he had the first generation google phone. I recall looking it up and it came out in January 2010.
