I think he parked down the road after he loaded his truck. Better to have the truck down the street in case some rare visitor might stop by. Maybe he wanted to enjoy a few moments of peace and quiet while playing around on the Mcstay home computer.
Too bad he forgot the black light. Just kidding.

What do you think the light on the side of the truck is, the one above the tail light?
IR illuminators will reflect off of "flat", non-shiny surfaces, it is what it is.
I've had security cameras since '95, continually upgrading to encompass over 5+ acres of property that contain my animals on it. The "home" security systems weren't meant to catch details at night beyond 10'-15', that's the standard limit. It didn't look like it had more than 150dpi. They have a tendency to intensify on "white" to blur dark lines/borders surrounding the white image when the camera picks up images beyond it's range. (like the head/drive light combo)

And then it could just be an oily smudge that caught the light.

I don't think it's anything worth spending time on. The vehicle matches up as far as shape and lights. It certainly wasn't the Trooper. Definitely a service truck......and it sure matches up to CM's vehicle in my opinion.

But the truck is leaving the house so how did he then write the checks at the house if he had already left?

He would of simply of parked up and gone back to the house. He was simply removing his truck so it wasn’t spotted by neighbors.

If you think this is the tailpipe please explain why it's longer than the tailpipe shown on the image of CM's actual truck?
Wait, I thought you couldn't see it? Confused.

And nobody ever spoke to the family again from that moment and his phone was off grid at that time and he pinged at gravesites two days later and and and
Those pesky facts keep coming back to haunt him

I think once he had murdered them he didn’t want his truck on the driveway Incase it was spotted so he quickly left and parked it around the corner or whatever the equivalent is in America coz your roads are different to ours.
With the bodies in the truck?

I need to watch the whole video again, it was a constant on the side of the truck, wasn't it, not just a flash? I had always thought it was a side light like most of those trucks have.

I think it’s his truck and add in the fact he was writing a check only moments later it’s fitting together like a jigsaw puzzle.

It really is amazing, and such vital evidence.

Just think about it. Lol!

They not only have a video of his truck that fateful night, but they also have evidence he was inside the victims home writing himself a fraudulent check to himself that fateful night. The date of all of this is so important, and will be to the jury as well.

That's priceless evidence to have, and many cases dont even have this much evidence.

This case has always been about timelines, phone locations, location of the burial site, and following the money.

It's all coming together now for the jury too, I have no doubt.

You are so right, asyousay! That CE puzzle I mentioned long ago is become clear as a bell as to who's image the puzzle pieces show. I knew it would.

And the state is going to save their best evidence last for rebuttal, imo.

So we are in store for even more compelling evidence before this is over.

Imo

Or maybe it's one of the four people whose DNA was found at the grave site, who will testify how Chase forced them to bury the victims for him.

The prosecution has yet to have an explanation about the DNA at the grave site.
The defense claimed there was DNA from 4 people in the grave, NOT the prosecution. The defense has to bring their witness in to testify about it. The prosecution's witnesses have already said there was NOT any DNA found in the grave other than what they could get from the bones of the children. The adults were identified by their teeth. One prosecution witness said DNA would not exist after being in those conditions, ie, buried under High desert conditions after 3+ years.

We haven’t yet heard that there was unexplained DNA at the gravesite. Right? Opening statements aren’t evidence.

The defense is going use the transfer DNA defense in the Trooper belonging to CM so I imagine the state will say the same thing.

I mean the defense can't really disagree with a straight face, since they are going to say the same thing about CMs DNA.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander right?

In my experience, one of the job requirements for being a defense attorney in a murder case is the ability to say anything, however absurd, with a straight face.

None of the service trucks I drove, nor the one my husband drives have side lights. It would interfere with the boxes.

"If 'you' think" it is. I thought I made it clear that 'I' didn't think it was.

Agreed. If the full on DNA from four whole bodies was hard to find and barely survived in hot desert conditions over almost four years what’s the odds that some random transfer DNA from four other people managed to survive, unlikely right?

It’s probs from people who helped dig the graves or process the bodies. JMO.

But the truck is leaving the house so how did he then write the checks at the house if he had already left?
He printed and then deleted a check which wasnt cashed. A test run. Couldnt wait till he got home to print and cash. But unfortunately ran into technical issues like paper alignment and such. Easier to grab a handful of blank checks on the way out and print at leisure.

With the bodies in the truck?

It depends on when he murdered the family, I’m assuming he didn’t put the bodies in the truck at that stage as too risky as it wasn’t even 8pm.

Is it too late for Chase to cut a deal?

And nobody ever spoke to the family again from that moment and his phone was off grid at that time and he pinged at gravesites two days later and and and

Ita!

Yes, yes, and yes. All of it is piling up high now with more to come.

The jury is getting all of this too. It's not hard to do. Imo

Like I've posted several times now!....this is not a complex case whatsoever.

If I would have been on the jury when the witness stated that it was a reflection coming off of the truck I don't believe I could have contained my laughter. I probably be doing 30 days for contempt.
