The defense is beginning its cross-examination of the 3D modeling expert.

Thanks, Tortoise!

The FARO evidence is incredible. Too bad we don't have live stream or video later on.
I agree, it's damning.

Jurors love visuals where they can see things for themselves.

No matter what the defense says about confirmation bias it will be up to them to believe the image is CMs truck.

Note: before the jury was allowed into the courtroom today, one of the defense attorneys argued about prosecutorial misconduct. There was a testy exchange between the attorneys. It is clear those feelings are still there, as they argue over objections right now.

The defense is continuing to question the 3D expert on confirmation bias, in trying to make the suspect truck match the truck in the video. Expert: "I understand that cognitive bias exists. I do my best to avoid it."

OMG that's the clearest visual match yet IMO
I agree, however... I'm not convinced about the latch being what is reflecting. It's too bad that we will probably never see all this video :(

I hope we get audio of that lol

Have you been at the Trial Frankie? Good for you to do that.
No - I wish I were at the trial. I don't know if it was good to do it or not. I truly think the do not care one iota.

Its painful already to know CM murdered their mommy, and daddy in cold blood, but the way he also took G & J. jr.'s life is one of the worst double homicides of tiny children I've ever seen.

Knowing CM was the last face they ever saw rips my heart out for all of them, just thinking about it.

None of us know. If anyone here knows CM was the killer, they should be called to testify.

That’s not correct as all the evidence is saying he was the killer.

You may not wish to believe so but the evidence suggests otherwise so we do know hence him being on trial right now.

From Rob McMillan in a private message:

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to cover it daily. We will do the best we can.

I forgot about time change, thought we had another hour. I have to adjust now lol

I cant stand the new time change either. I wish we would just have one,all the time, instead of it jumping forward in March and then falling back again in the fall.

You missed the point of the post I responded to. katy was saying that he did it to try to see if backdating could be done, but there is no evidence that he tried or did backdate the cheque on the 4th, and if he had already done the cheques on the 1st and 2nd, he didn't need to "try" anything, he had already done it and knew he could. That then morphed into well 'maybe he looked at the options to see if he could backdate', which of course, there is no evidence of that.

I am not sure that my speculation about him looking up 'backdating options' is that far of a stretch. He had not backdated any of the checks from the 1st and 2nd. he didn't need to because Joey was alive and well.

But on the 4th, IF JOEY WAS DECEASED, then it was urgent that the killer would need to create checks dated on the 4th or earlier for them to be credible. So he did need to 'try' and figure out something. JMO

We know he had never backdated before, and we don't know if the knew how to look in the auditor default options or not. So maybe he poked around that night and found out there was that option? I say that because the next day at noon he was able to do that quickly and successfully.

Some believe he's guilty from the evidence so far, some don't. Knowing is not the same as believing. If one says only the killer knew the family was dead, one is expected to say only the killer knows he's the killer.

Not to sound old or anything (I am 29, I swear) but I am not real sure how twitter works. I have an account (FWIW) and I have a follower - haha. Anyway, make sure we all give this guy lots of heart clicks for being our eyes and ears at the trial today.
