I don't question that. The fact that the drip is horizontal and dried is the alarming points for me. It also seems like more than just a drop is on the cup unless it is sunbleached from being outside the grave? I don't recall if it was or not. But dried and not smeared. Also wintery conditions, although I suspect their heater may have kicked on at some point.

The defense contends the bra was cut at the grave site probably due to one cup being outside the grave and cut. I'm sure it ended up there by way of animals and the bra was cut in the home. A nearby knife may have been Chase's first weapon of choice.

I have always wondered why he didn’t kill the dogs as well. He obviously had a soft spot for them as Summer leaving them behind just didn’t make any sense. Neither did leaving the puppy Digger behind who the boys loved and adored.

If the police were so inept it should of been another massive red flag. So it was a risky to leave them behind imo

If he killed the dogs he would have had to remove them as well. Maybe leaving the dogs there and feeding them bought him more time to clean up the house over a few days time.

I sat in on a meeting with Dugal and both families. I was NOT impressed with him at all. I also went outside the house for a cigarette break and spoke with two other San Diego LE who were out there as well. They were higher up than Dugal but I don't remember their ranks.
They too seemed very laxidasical about the missing family.

I am known as a paint lady in our neighborhood because the trim/shutters on the outside of our home is painted a different color every 3 to 4 years or less.

Plus my close neighbors/friends/family knows I do the very same thing inside of our home every 2.5 or 3 years throughout our home. I love change, and cant stand walls or outside trim/shutters to remain the same color, and only painted when needed.

I've been painting walls/baseboards/molding for over 45 years now in various homes we have owned. Not once has paint gotten on my bra.

I literally laughed out loud. You and my wife would get along wonderfully. She paints in a t-shirt. I would think one would have to be wearing a blouse to get paint on a bra? But she never has to my knowledge either.

Simple really, I am a local who volunteered to pass out flyers. There really weren't that many of us. I got to know the family, as Susan and I had a lot in common and we were teamed together to pass out flyers. They are very nice people.

Thanks @Mica ! Looks like it was just Microsoft, so assuming Google complied. Looks like Microsoft is ordered to come back on the 26th? or it's just an update to see if they got what they were requesting? The 26th is a Tuesday and would be a "normal" trial day.

Agree. She would be painting standing in a vertical position so how was the paint drip on her bra in a transverse position?

Someone asked why does it matter, and for me at least, every bit of evidence that has been presented, matters, all of it. That's the very reason they are all admitted for the jury to weigh.

I don’t know if the jury trial will continue on March 26 at 9:30 AM after the status of the subpoena duces tecum at 9:00 AM or if there will be a hearing related to the subpoenaed documents. Maybe we will learn more as the time nears.

Just an FYI ..

A subpoena duces tecum, or subpoena for production of evidence, is a court summons ordering the recipient to appear before the court and produce documents or other tangible evidence for use at a hearing or trial.

Maybe it's best we don't know all the details. When I ponder what could have gone down it's too horrific.

Oh I agree about the police saying the victim was a runaway. Unfortunately, I've seen many LE hold that opinion, only to find out they didnt runaway at all, but had been kidnapped and later found murdered.

But this case was totally different, imo. They had no valid reason or evidence to believe this entire family had just left everything behind never to return.

That's all I'm saying.

I went back to the photo's of the island to see if there was a way to tell what exactly was painted on it because there were indications that Summer was working on that, drawers were out and on newspaper, doors off and on top of the island on the 15th. IF the paint got there from her painting, the only thing I could see her painting and that happening is the bottom of the island (underneath the cupboard) laying on her side painting.

Oh btw, hubby is outside cleaning out all our flower beds, and I took him some water. Then I told him I wanted to repaint our shutters this spring. Lol! He takes them down, and puts them back up for me after they dry.

Yes, I have specific paint clothes too including t-shirts.

I've never gotten paint drips on my bra though whether they are vertical or horizontal drips.

ETA if my hubby saw horizontal drops on my bra he would ask me if I fell asleep! Lmbo. He knows that ain't gonna happen. When I start any paint project I'm constantly painting so that it is done in a timely manner.
