When we look back at this, WHY is it an ISSUE? The PT/LE said he was in Hawaii. Why are we even being sucked into the DT's "Nuh uh, no he wasn't".
There's been a lot of "DK" thrown on the wall,
What could possibly be his motive, method and opportunity?

Joey still owed DK that last $2K for the website, DK was still getting monthly web master payments. DK didn't have the where with all to run the business and I really doubt he wanted to. He didn't hate Joey, Summer, or the kids.

I don't believe there's anything sinister with DK. Yes, he's a bit eccentric and full of himself but a dog with bark and no bite.

I don’t believe DK is the culprit but he had as much motive as CM when it comes to being cut out of a business that is starting to flourish.

I think they can rebut whatever evidence the defense's DNA expert testifies to if they have the same samples tested and get different or less conclusive results.

Wonder where the other witnesses are - DK, his ex-girlfriend, the forensic accountant...who else did they allude to in OS? McGee opened with such a promising array of experts to destroy the state's case, where are all of them?

Seems to me it'll be hard to get a jury to believe that the spatter from hitting a wet sponge could equate to the same spatter as hitting a hard skull with a sledge hammer.

Its impossible for me to believe that ALL of their witnesses cant show up.

Maybe one or two, and if that happens they usually just fill it with another witness.

But NONE are available? I'm sorry, I'm not buying it, and I've never seen it happen for weeks on end in any other trial either.

I can’t see how what Patrick said would be deemed relevant to the trial. But if allowed, it also could backfire terribly on the defense.
Showing that the murder victim liked CM isn’t proof that CM didn’t do the murder—it simply makes it potentially a more horrific murder, (if that’s possible.) Just my opinion.

They tried that same ill will tactic with Sharon Rocha too because for three weeks she wanted to believe Scott Peterson had really murdered Laci and Conner.

It only made the jury more sympathetic toward the grieving mom, and soon to be grandmother.

They're just hoping the jury will forget all the promises they made in their opening. lol

What I can't believe the most is the judge allowing this, abusing the jurors' time like this is just unconscionable. Every time he agrees to another delay I just want to scream 'Control your courtroom, Sir!".

I went back to the OS from the defense (McGee), apparently it's both degraded and NOT belonging to the McStay's or CM. I didn't recall the "degraded" part. I have looked up the M-Vac process, it's interesting and I can see where DNA could be picked up where a swab missed it. Doing a swab, you are hoping that DNA is found in the specific spot or spots you swab. Doing the M-Vac, they can cover the complete surface, for example, like the electrical cord that was wrapped around Joseph.

DNA from the grave site excludes Charles Merritt. That's correct. Nobody knows this, but us, DNA evidence found inside those graves, we found it. think(?) the investigators when they checked everything, they did a swab, they took a little piece of cotton and said okay is there anything on that? Nope, okay, no DNA. Suzanna Ryan, who is our DNA specialist says no no no you need to do what's called an M-Vac, best way to described it is it's like a wet-vac, it sprays a saline solution, and vacuum all that solution off and it's caught in the filter. It's a hundred times more accurate at picking up DNA than a swab. Through this process she was able to find DNA on almost every item she tested. She'll say it's degraded, it's not something that was just placed there, it's simply broken down from being in the ground. Items that we have tested was stuff that was wrapped around Joseph, so whoever's killing them and wrapping them up that's a good place to look because it's their DNA that's gonna get on that because you get hands sweaty and pulling (?) them off. We also wanted to look at the clothes that were taking off Summers body, so we checked the bra, and the panties. And DNA was found on those items, it was a digital result was generated, those digital results were sent to a company that does a computer software analysis. Preliminary computer analysis is all we have now, final results are due in two days, but they have developed profiles on those five items. They say we should be able to develop profiles, there's four of them, they said they're of unknown subjects meaning it's not the McStay family it's not Charles Merrit, they have been all excluded from the evidence inside the grave. So apparently chase killed this family, buried them, and put someone else's DNA on everything and not his own.

I meant Sharon DID NOT want to believe Scott had murdered Laci, and Conner.
