If Chase stole the laptop, why wouldn't the State or LE be all over this? They objected to this info repeatedly during their own case.
IMO Chase did not steal the laptop.
I agree.

They provided a thumb drive or something. Who cares? If the witness didn’t know they did that, then too bad, he fell for it.You think? LOL I don't care for him, actually, I don't care for any of the prosecutors from Day 1, I have never ever felt that way towards the prosecutor's before... it's weird lol
They are discussing it now... and apparently Daugherty did provide the forensic images? I missed a bit of it.
I think that was Imes? LOL how bad is that.. it's 3 months later and I'm still having troubles even knowing who is who! They provided a thumb drive or something. Who cares? If the witness didn’t know they did that, then too bad, he fell for it.
I actually agree that I’ve been more angry or disapproving of Daugherty than not during this trial. He just really hit it out of the park late this afternoon.
They've gone home for the night ocean.Has cross ended? Tia
As far as him being treated aggressively he should be use to that if he has testified in other trials, both by the prosecutors, and defense attorneys because both sides do it.

No it was Britt Imes. Was it Daughtry doing the cross? In any event, he did a good job pointing out the use of hyperbole and that the findings were subjective and not objective.
Thanks, Tortoise. All I know is they sound alike and audio is all we’ve had for quite some time now. I will do my best to keep them sorted. Sorry about the misnaming.
Even I know the answer to that!LOL! did he get his answer I wonder?

I am pretty sure I heard that Daugherty provided the forensic images... which would be the majority of his testimony... so isn't that the DA providing the evidence? No wonder he didn't know how to answer ...![]()
So I wonder which one it was when I was complaining about him being too aggressive? You just can’t please some people (like me) lol.
IMO, if he knew where the images came from, he could have made the prosecution look foolish. It’s on him that he instead allowed himself to look foolish. He’s messing with the big boys now (as they say... whoever “they” is).

Linda Kenney Baden Retweeted Cathy Russon
This is what people save as a road map in case anything happens to them. I think this is important bc there are such killings called "hits"- Eg See the movie The Godfather. Biggest appealable issue in case? #SODDI defense #McStay
this was tweeted in response to Cathy's tweets about the file with the convo with Dan.
I don’t get it either. I went to check out Twitter but got sidelined reading other Tweets. Someone who thinks Merritt didn’t do it is showing up on my feed. :eekOk, so please translate Baden's tweet for me. Is she saying that Chase can appeal if convicted because it was really a hit? And SomeoneElseDidIt?

There's is no proof DK made the searches. They could've been done by anyone who had access to his computer.I think she is saying that people keep those records in case something happens to them (save as a road map)... the judge not allowing it in is an appealable issue. There have been some issues around Dan that are probably really iffy legally.... like this, like his searches, etc. They will be a huge part of his appeal if he is convicted IMO.
They've gone home for the night ocean.
He's continuing tomorrow. If the witness comes back
I enjoyed it so far, and I look forward to the remainder. McGee complained to the judge that the prosecutor is treating the defense like a joke - I think it is a joke so no complaints from me.
