That's why I don't understand the point LOL Even saying what one would think they would do... no one knows until they are in that situation.
A few years ago, I would have told my kids to always cooperate with the police, especially if you didn't do anything wrong. Nowadays, I tell them to not speak to them without one of us there or now that they are older, not without a lawyer. It's just the way it is now. I'm not saying it because of a lack in trust with LE, I'm saying it because kids (now young adults) are stupid LOL, they don't always understand what is going on and may not understand the impact of their words. And with all the cases I follow, it's just smart advice to keep your mouth shut, guilty or not. IMO That being said... my kids have also been told over the years that I would be the first to call the cops if I thought they needed to be called LOL Fear the Mom!!!!
