I respectfully disagree about the girl thing. I think she's an outstanding attorney who just so happens to be a female. She's a very strong & confident person. I agree 100% with the rest of your comment though. :)
Agree. But she is 3rd string. The boys are keeping her at bay. It is what it is.

IMO, the defense is gasping for breath. Dying a slow death. But I have no clue what the jury is thinking. This is a cliff hanger. MOO MOO and MOO.

They're bound to be quite riled once they get the news of the latest and greatest delay tomorrow.

Then Maline whined and argued about letting the Sheriff's dept bring the vehicle over for the jury to see tomorrow. He wanted the defense to have it towed to the jury.....

Judge denied that request and said the sheriff's office has custody of it, so they will tow it to the courthouse.

Maline is such a whiner...

yes, that will be quite a shock, I believe. They were probably thinking it was almost over.

He can only suspend the imposition. The Court can still sentence someone to death.

LTNS my friend. I've followed all of your very informative posts on this forum.

As always, thank you.

Yes, that is how I had interpreted it as well, but wasn't sure.

Imo

Merritt didn't wait until the 15th to raise concern. Merritt also didn't get access to the neighbor's surveillance camera footage, did he? Those people that contacted neighbor Mitchley for the camera footage, who were they? This Feb. 4 - Feb. 15 period is very intriguing.

So you believe there's some vast conspiracy to frame CM? By who, the police? Their neighbors?

So today when asked about remaining witnesses they only mentioned Bachman coming back, Dr. Rudin & the defense investigator Gary Robertson. So is that all the defense has or did I miss something??

I think this is the defense investigator:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/gary-robertson-a6b4ba101

Interesting on his Facebook he's friends with the defense blood/sponge/blood spatter guy Beasley.

He didn't show any concern at all. The evidence shows he stopped phoning, stopped visiting, left no messages, told lies to Metro, forged and banked Joey's cheques, impersonated Joey to get the accounting records deleted, used Joey's credit card to buy a new accounting system, drove Joey's Trooper to the border, and then went to fake concern about the very same family he had bludgeoned to death and buried, before heading off to the casino.

Listening to the judge's response outside of the jury.
He allows as CM's responses to where he was on the 4th were inconsistent. He then said he would allow CM's comments that he wasn't there on the 4th or the 6th. A tad confusing.

False. He insisted JM's brother to check the house for his best friend's welfare.
The relevant testimony starts at 6.48 in video. The defendant hasn't testified, unfortunately.

That's right he didn't want to go in the house because of his lengthy criminal record and status as a 2 time felon so he asked MM to go in first.

Right.....after Chase had already did that much, even fed the dogs.

So what is the logic of having to get Mike out to the house, to verify that no one was there? This he already knew.

How many alternate jurors are left, does anyone know?

I don't think any of it helps the defense case but I do agree with the court's decision that it should come in. Let them have their inconsistent statements and no grounds for appeal. IMO
