They were partners. Obviously I am not the first one that used that phrase to describe CM's relationship to JM.
No, this is wrong. Chase had zero stake in EIP.

A more appropriate description would be they partnered in doing business together, but they were not business partners.

I was not aware the color of the shirt you wear means you are not capable of killing.

You do indeed learn something new every day.

Call it what you like.

I shall as I am correct they were not business partners. Hence why Joey was going to fire the lying thief as he could as they wasn’t partners. He was somebody Joey employed for jobs.

Any more than putting one's hand under his chin in the courtroom as a sign of guilt.

Interesting... I wonder if she was told this the other day when she was there? or if this was from months ago when she said they told her the same...

#McStay - The defense told me they've tried to subpoena Dan Kavanaugh and he's nowhere to be found.

Then they have the ex gf with his "confession", or is she nowhere to be found either?

How does one hide in this day and age?
Do they really want to find him?

I'm just posting her tweet... lol I actually wouldn't think they would want to call him... but maybe they do? The ex-gf... no idea why they aren't calling her... possibly because the State didn't call Dan? I do think it works better for the defense to have a "mystery" of Dan than having Dan actually there, but what do I know LOL

Understood about the tweet. :)

But well yeah, they got to put a lot of what sounds damning in their OS without calling the witness and actually having it testified to. I tend to think the jury will notice.

ETA: But then it has been an eon since then so maybe they've forgotten.

Wasn't questioning you, Missy. But seriously, if the DT thinks he murdered this family of four wouldn't they feel morally bound to find him? Get this perp on the stand?
IMO, they are feeding us baloney.
They have NO desire to put him on the stand. MOO.
And, I disagree that it will help their case, especially in the juror's eyes.
DK,DK,DK.......where is he?

I agree that they would probably notice, however, I think it's easier for the defense to promise something and then later say 'we didn't have to do this or that because the State did not prove their case' and just harp on that during their closing statements. JMO

I hope on Tuesday during the cross examination of Bachman, they produce all the documents, notes, etc on what was used to verify Dan's alibi and put this "Dan did it" theory to bed.

And, as far as we know, Dr. Rudin will be the last witness?

Are they done with Bachman? But yes, I don't know of any other witnesses left other than Rudin. Hope McGee will be back for that. I don't think Maline has enough, err, umm, shall we say expertise to question Rudin.

A while ago when it was first mentioned here that the DT couldn't locate DK, one of the posters here surmised that the PT would have the motive to help him go in hiding.

I hope so too, but I suspect they don't have much other than what we have heard, LE reports, call records (that didn't show cell tower locations) Maybe I will be wrong. Bachman didn't help out by saying that they had Dan's cell tower locations and/or GPS coordinates at the time, because we know they didn't show those when they showed the call records. IIRC Bachman also said the same about Chase's cell records in earlier testimony, that they had the GPS coordinates, or that was his belief when he questioned Merritt. I believe that was when they showed a few minutes of his SB interview.

That's hilarious. :D:D:D I don't remember seeing that comment.

Which would be highly unethical on their part.

What about their cell guy too? McGee made a big deal about him before the trial and in opening.

Why would they put themselves in legal danger like that? They'd likely be disbarred if they had a potential witness in secretly in hiding.

I don't see any of the prosecution wanting to put themselves in that kind of jeaopardy over one case. JMO
