You must be watching a different trial to the rest of us.
Plus it's difficult to murder a family in Cali when you're surfing in Hawaii.

What happened to J Marsh? She seemed to have a lot of the same views as you in support of CM. In fact others here agree with your views so you certainly arent alone. Hang in there for the duration. Trial's almost over yeah!
Edit: she/he.

Actually I doubt those who share views with Texas_Red are "in support of CM", but I can't speak for others. As for me, I am for Logical Reasoning and True Justice.

Hope we all agree to add "real" before "killer". Hope no one wants to help the real killer(s) escape justice by sentencing a wrong person.

Is there a connection of that one to the McStay case? If so, would like to know more, thanks.

You mean people watching the same trial must all share the same opinions?
In my opinion Chase Merritt is the REAL killer.

There is no connection between the McStay case and Bryce Laspisa other than both happened in southern California and some of the same members were following both cases.

In my opinion Chase Merritt is the REAL killer.

IMO the real killers could still be at large and frequent online discussion forums about the case and likely personally or through their friends and relatives participating Internet discussions in in an attempt to influence the trial. If they are at large, you bet they are among those who can't wait to see the scapegoat convicted, and it's a no-brainer how they'd be talking about Chase Merritt, the PT and DT.

Online forums and discussions simply cannot influence the trial unless the jurors are doing what they are not supposed to be doing. If you have personal knowledge that internet chatter is influencing the jury I would urge you to contact Judge Smith or any other officer of the court.

I said "in an attempt", and it does make such an unmistakable impression. And, seems it's almost perfect for me to borrow this quote in response to the last sentence:
Perhaps I should have used the word "encourage" rather than urge. I would ask anyone who is aware of jury misconduct to inform the court.

And an other one like "I Care" or something like that, *snort* right, lol!

He was persuasive to a degree. The former blogger who became so enamored with Merritt that he about went berserk persuaded many gullible people that Josephs own brother killed him. And a few still try to slyly insinuate this might be true on other boards

This gives me the shivers.
Chase was trying to control the narrative and point "whoever" away from him.
A Jodi Arias friend did the same thing DURING Aias's trial on Twitter stating she was posting Jodi's own words.

Lol talk about the instant confirmation of my point made.

And Twitter. Some of those Tweeters are convinced his brother did it.

I do think we are living in a time where it is possible to affect justice via social media. IMO, it almost happened with the Syed case. I think it is attempted every single day with high profile cases. Yes, the jurors are not supposed to be affected, just as the judges are not supposed to be affected either, but let’s face it, none of us live in a bubble. I believe it is possible, if not likely, that “deciders” have been influenced by social media and/or hype in the past and we just do not know it.

May I see the faces behind those sunglasses, please?

Anybody venture to guess what is on the agenda for tomorrow? Is Bachman still on? I hope the prosecution puts out irrefutable evidence of DKs alibi.

The prosecution has so far in almost 4 months hardly put out any "irrefutable" evidence of Chase's guilt.

Would you kindly insert "IMO" if stating an opinion or placing a link in your post if it is fact, Thank you.
