Two Embarcadero Center, where the car was eventually found is a 12 minute walk to the Bay Bridge. Bay Bridge isn’t as popular as the golden gate, but people jump off of it.

edit: the car was located at Three Embarcadero Center. The walk to the bridge would take 11 minutes.

Suicide is a big possibility... but I still have a question... the guy who bought the car abandoned in that parking lot... why would he refuse to help? Would it have something to do with the case? If they only asked him to check it out, he might have some evidence... maybe this guy saw when John or someone else left the car there... and he was always keeping an eye on it, waiting for the moment to buy it or at least be able to check it out... it's very strange... it's a very striking car...

We don't know if he was found or is still missing or if he has family out there?

John married Rebecca 10 Mar 1979 in San Francisco, and they had a son born in 1983 one month before John went missing. I did not include their full names to protect their privacy, as they are still living.
