I am a local and just went to the area he disappeared and to add some more context, the average person being on the lookout in my community is likely not gonna help, I went to the area he disappeared and it’s extremely rugged and heavily wooded. I’m sure he ended up disoriented and got lost or hurt. LE should take cadaver dogs up there if they haven’t already. The road isn’t even paved by a certain point I can’t imagine this old man living in that area or visiting it alone it’s an unforgiving landscape.
