Wow, he’s very small. Luckily with modern forensic science, this shouldn’t be an issue, but I could imagine if he (unfortunately) had died and been found many years ago, they may think his remains were female at only 5’2”. Jmo

Jonathan’s NamUs was modified today. The only change I see is his age was changed from 29 to 28 at the time he went missing.

Sidenote: There was a months long search in the Sequoia National Forest for Jomarie whose remains were found recently. Wondering if maybe during that search, something could have been discovered related to Jonathan. Just a thought and my opinion only.

So, it appears people saw him hiking in the park that day. It just seems an unusual time of year to make such a long hike in that park. How long should it have taken him to cover that distance in cold winter weather?

With significant snow fall, it’s easy to see how he could have gotten lost. The snow would have covered the trail, making it easy to wander off.

I hope he is found some day, to give some closure to his family and friends.
