Strange there is so little info available for a 12 year old missing,it's like nobody even missed him. I wonder how his home sitauation was.

Details of Disappearance
Jorge was last seen traveling to a friend's home in Los Angeles, California. He never returned home or was heard from again. He is listed as a runaway, but details in his case are sketchy. Jorge's case is unsolved.

@Newuser01 Is there something else you can tell us about Jorge's case? There is very little info to work on. How far away did his friend live, did he walk, take a bus? Were there any issues in the home that might have lead to him running away? Were there ever any sightings? did he just literally never come home?

Can anyone find any archived newspaper articles about his disappearance?

I feel for his family and wish there was more information. Did he disappear between home and his friend's house? Were there any dangers in the area, such as a river, swamp, or large forest he could have walked to? Did any other child go missing, or any attempted abductions, in the years before or since from the area? How did police investigate? How much did they search? Was his disappearance in the media? What do his parents think happened? What did police think happened?

Thanks for bumping the case up, @Caring1.

I believe there is no way a 12-year-old "ran away" in 1992, unless he was believed to be with a relative, which doesn't sound like the case. He was only 12. His family must have been going insane with worry, and LE called him a runaway(!) As if there would have been somewhere legitimate to go at age 12.

How sad.

I couldn't find anything in the newspapers. Very sad and strange about the lack of information and media for a child. Even if they thought he was a runaway, after a period of time it would seem they would take another look and reclassify him. I wonder if someone who has experience in submitting a FOIA can put in a request.
