Well, I guess I'm not surprised by this news. Sorry to say, these babies are better off without their bio parents. I pray they find happy, healthy homes with people who are willing and able to put the children first.

A 23-year-old woman was sentenced today to 13 years in state prison for kidnapping three children of her half-sister who was killed last year, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

In July, Brittney Sue Humphrey pleaded no contest to three counts of kidnapping.

Robertson and Alex Valdez, 29, have been charged with murdering Harvill, whose body was discovered in a remote area of Gorman. They also face a special circumstance allegation of lying in wait, making them eligible for the death penalty.

A decision on whether to seek the death penalty will be made at a later date.
