In a perfect world everyone would/should call 911 when something like this happens. Just like everyone should call 911 when they hear a child screaming/being abused next door.

I too wish it was a perfect world.

In a perfect world, nothing like this would ever happen to a child or to anyone else.

How I wish the world were perfect.

Me too. I am sure they sent a chaplain or a family liaison officer.

I think you're right. According to KTXL the baby was found at 7:30AM - I am very hopeful the family was informed before the media got wind.

This just hurts my heart - RIP Precious Juliani. God bless the Cardenas family in their time of need.

I just joined this site when I started following the story on Juliani. I had been hoping for a miracle and praying for this little boy, as I have my own 4 year old too.

Tabitha just confirmed the worst on her FB page. I am so sad this didn't have a better outcome.

My only hope now, is that this horrible MONSTER took his own life too so we don't have to pay a dime for him sitting behind bars.

RIP: Juliani Cardenas. May your mother have peace knowing that you were found and are in the arms of the Lord now.

someone in my FB just said they found his body today..Is this true??

WELCOME TO WEBSLEUTHS, INKYCAT AND ADOBEGIRL! Unfortunately it is under these circumstances. :( Hoping that you both keep posting here.

And yes, adobegirl. It looks like they did find little Juliani's body. It hasn't been confirmed as his yet, but the description matches.

Such a sad thing, but I knew this was going to be the case the way LE was taking on Friday during the search and after they found the empty car. I knew that wasn't a good sign. I live surrounded by water and canals, and I've seen far too often these things not having good outcomes.

All that's left is positive DNA confirmation.

I understand. I'm sorry, I am just upset about the little boy. :(

I'm sure all of us understand how you feel. We are all upset. I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach. It surely does make you want to kick something. Hang in there.

Welcome inkycat & adobegirl, so sorry your introduction was so very sad.

I agree, may JR's eternity in H*ll have started in his last minutes on Earth. I apologize for this, but I am so tired of POC boy/girlfriend's (ex, current or otherwise) killing innocent children.

Please God, don't let the media have the mother on tonight so that everyone can intrude on her grief.

Her FB said she would not be speaking with the media.

The rage, the absolute evil it takes to harm a sweet baby in this manner! I'm sickened. What horrible news. At least his mother doesn't have to go on endlessly, wondering.

I would like to take a minute to give a shout-out to LE in this area. This is now the second case that I've followed from Stanislaus County (Juliani and Laci Peterson), and I believe this has to be one of the most professional group of LE that I've seen through all the cases that I've followed all around. Additionally, news 10 has been great, at least in my opinion, for their coverage and keeping people updated with their live coverage.

Now we can only hope and pray that Jose's body is recovered and we will know for sure that he rot eternally in hell.

Isn't that the truth? When will parents learn? :maddening:

You read my mind. While watching that wonderful team standing there, I was wishing they could assist with other cases, specifically, Putnam County, Florida, Colorado City, Texas, and cases of other missing children as well as adults, such as the Wix girls. Too many to count and my mind is too crushed to think clearly right now.

I'm really upset with that farmer. If it would have been me I would have turned around and jumped in the water to try and save the little boy.

If the farmer jumped in, more then likely LE would be searching for the farmer's body also. The current is very strong and was described in detail how dangerous the water is in the canal. It's not the farmer's fault!

Juliani's mother needs to be in the hospital right now so they can monitor the unborn child and help the mother through this most difficult time of her life.

I am so thankful that they found Juliani so that he can be brought home to his family. Everyone, please light a candle and say a prayer for Juliani, his mother, family and friends and for his unborn baby sister.

My thoughts and prayer are with Juliani's family and friends. This has to be so hard. I couldn't even imagine.

I agree and then nobody would of known to search the canal. What the farmer did was exactly what he should of done. It took PROFESSIONAL divers to find him. No way could a lay man with no equipment of saved him. The only one responsible for this sad situation was his father.
