It will be interesting to find out whether this is true about the possible match:
"Hair samples sent to a Salt Lake City laboratory matched isotope sequences with drinking water that pinpointed where the woman had lived. The victim spent the last seven months of her life near the town of Afton, Wyoming."

They believe they narrowed it down by the month(!)

This could be a stretch, but Karla is not listed on the exclusions for San Juan Capistrano Jane doe found in 2014 (of which I believe there are currently over 80). I had researched women missing from California/Orange County with the last name Williams; as the name on this UID's blazer reads 'Coach Williams.'

This could be a stretch, but Karla is not listed on the exclusions for San Juan Capistrano Jane doe found in 2014 (of which I believe there are currently over 80). I had researched women missing from California/Orange County with the last name Williams; as the name on this UID's blazer reads 'Coach Williams.'

But that body was found in 2014 and had a post-mortem interval of "months." That would be a stretcher if she was Karla Williams, who went missing in July 1993.

What about this Jane doe? Time frame somewhat fits, unknown height, so we can’t compare that. Age fits. But what strikes me as a potential match is the part where it says light brown hair. Fullerton from Temecula California is roughly 1 hour 10 - 1 hour 30 mins depending on the route you take.

Even this Jane doe would be a good contender, the only thing putting me off, is the height being estimated as much lower than that of Karla
