I have to wonder if money is the actual motivation here. I mean, these brothers are on tour so clearly they have some money coming in, none of them are desitute. I'm just playing devil's advocate, though. If we take the money off the table and assume the Jackson siblings are trying to protect the estate due to illegalities/fraud, then what would be their reason for planning something like this? What would be another reason to isolate/separate Katherine from the kids and cause the family to basically raid KJ's house to get the kids? Why take their cell phones? Why do they want these kids if it isn't for money?

they probably get hysterical every time someone benefits from the estate...probably Katherine does not have enough money in her own allowance to effectively help them with all their hand out demands.

this must infuriate them no end....after all their mother is a rich woman and should be able to help her own children.

but no...the executors have it set up so that the freeloading is kept to a minimum.

in a way I can totally understand how crazy this must make them...and what ever the cool aid du jour is...you know the J's are drinkin it....they completely buy the whole murder of their brother speculation, and think the executors are part of it...

Anyone with functioning eyeballs can see its likely that those children aren't bio-Jacksons, and I'm sure KJ knows if they are or or not and has always known. It doesn't matter what their DNA says. They're MJ's children who he clearly loved and lived for. I wonder if that family remembers mj...the one who supported each and every one of them, or do they just remember the money? :banghead:

Diana Ross was named as secondary guardian in MJ's will if KJ were ever unable to take care of his kids, right? Ms. Ross and her big hair needs go whoop some Jackson sibling a** and get those kids outta there.

I'm just having a hard time believing that Katherine is not screaming to high heaven for a phone to have some contact with her grandchildren. I cannot imagine her going along with this bizarre situation. She is either totally incapacitated due to a stroke, or this is all just a crazy publicity stunt.
She very well could be in need of rest... it would not be easy at that age to live with a teenager and two other children. (How old is Prince? 12?) It's also possible that she could have had a ministroke. They don't leave a person with a lot of visible damage, from what I understand, but over time and after having several of them, it would take a toll on a person. Many times a non-medical person wouldn't even recognize one. They are almost always followed by a 'real' stroke somewhere down the road, according to my doctor. Katherine's health is definitely in a decline, due to her age. It would be a miracle for her to live until these kids are grown.
As far as Michael's money, I don't think there's a snowball's chance in He77 that his siblings would get any of it, they are certainly not entitled to it. His children are his legal heirs, not his parents or his brothers and sisters.
This just sounds so crazy to me. What better way to publicize some upcoming tour, though? Get the Jacksons in the news and mention their tour. It's all just a little bizarre to me, I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around this family's shenanigans.

IMO, the J brothers have always lived beyond their means and expected their mother to bail them out. They may be touring, but whatever they make would never be enough for them. Two of the brothers could face jail time for non payment of child support.

Because they're teenagers?
The thought if an 82 year old woman can handle raising three teenagers does concern me. Most teenagers give their parent/s a run for their money from time to time.

I'm ten years beyond average age to have a teenager under roof and it's tough keeping up with young people these days - technology and Anthropologie and midnight movies and issues between girls and boys, etc.

Me too. I know people can put on an act in front of a camera but maybe some of MJ's siblings really care about the guidance these kids are getting. Having caretakers is different than having a parent. I'm sure KJ is doing the best she can do.

I suspect KJ is being told by Janet, Jermaine and whoever else the following-

"Oh I talked to the kids and they are fine. They want you to have a good trip and rest and enjoy yourself and they send their love." She is being placated.

Unless something has happened to her I cannot imagine she would go all this time without talking to them without being manipulated.

It would be one thing for the children to have been told that by her but it is totally another for it to be coming from those money hungry siblings of Michael.

As far as the police visit, I wonder if LE said Paris is upset because no one will let her talk to you???? That's quite different than just checking to see if you're ok.

True. MJ, from all accounts, loved his mother dearly but knew she had to love the others too and then there's Joe. It's not a question of love imo.

I think MJ loved DR too and he knew her children were raised well, she's famous so they could relate to one another, etc. The problem is, it seems, he forgot to ask her if she'd be up to the task! Afterall, she's no spring chicken herself.

I know, Oprah. Oprah should take the children - not take take them but take them under her wing. She's always felt guilty about not befriending Michael anyway after she realized he felt lonely in his fame. She'd be a good influence and has lots of friends. I'm only half kidding.

I'd watch that reality show. Oprah has a new network. Paris wants to be an actress. Oprah values education above all else. It could be MJ's children at Oprah's house and them going out and doing educational trips together and Oprah trying to do mom like stuff. That would give KL a break when the Jackson children are being chaperoned while doing interesting things. :blushing:
