Yes, you make plenty of good sense to me!

Michael had a soft spot in his heart for Janet, early on. It was wonderful watching their interaction in old videos. Without his gift of a leg-up for her career, I doubt she would have been such a success on her own. (I can 'hear' my husband yelling at me from several rooms away...he always thought she was the cat's meow...but me, more meh.)

Anyway, something happened to split them apart years ago. I had supposed it was his prescription drug use (her attempted interventions), but now I'm not so sure why he closed the door on his lil sis.

I realize I'm not the only one who regards her differently as a result of this latest exposure.

Agreed. I vividly remember watching the music video for Scream when it premiered. They made a great team and it seemed like Michael was the closest to Janet, out of all of the siblings. and you're right about her talent, too. Mediocre, at best. She had a successful music career, but I absolutely prefer Michael's music over her own. She's now almost exclusively am actress, but in Tyler Perry-type roles which, IMO, don't require a gifted actress.

I remember when Katherine and Debbie Rowe came to an agreement who would raise the children. She agreed to let Katherine have full custody, but she kept her parental rights to them. She also has visiting rights, and I have read she does visit with them. She also insisted on physiological counseling for them. Katherine likes her and they get along. If any of the Jackson's try to get their money grubbing hands on them, I think she may contest it. She will have a say on who gets custody of them. I hope she will if there is a need to protect them from that crazy family. jmo

It's been 'said' in various news items that Debbie Rowe does NOT want her bio children raised by Joe Jackson OR the Jackson siblings. I do not know if this was part of her agreement with Katherine, but I would not doubt it.

That said, checkout Paris's Twitter pix and how she *may* feel about her bio Mom. I did today, and was happy to see. Look for one captioned "mommy and daddy", as well as one posted on Mother's Day.

FWIW, there are two Tito's-father and son. Son has always stuck by his cousins and is petitioning the court for guardianship.

They're furious their mother can no longer funnel money to them that MJ gave her and god forbid they earn their own money and live within their means. They can't stand the fact Michael's children, who don't have a speck of Jackson blood in them, are filthy disgustingly rich! They all make me sick, always have. Katherine is no saint, never was. I don't know if any of you have ever read MJ's autobiography, but it's a pretty good read and he detailed what it was like to grow up in the Jackson household. It really made me see him as a person instead of "Michael Jackson : The Superstar." just reading how he yearned, so badly, to just go outside and play with the neighborhood kids, but he couldn't because Joe forced them to practice at every opportunity just broke my heart. As bizarre as MJ may have seemed, I think he was the normal one of the bunch. If he were some whackadoodle nutjob, Paris wouldn't be the fine young lady she's proving herself to be.

IMO Michael Jackson was a whackadoodle nutjob for sure, probably much worse. But for all of his faults...I can't say a single bad thing about how his children SEEM to be turning out. Not sure if it's in spite of him or his excellent job of choosing nannies. I simply wont / can not give him or katherine full credit.

Tito may have signed the letter but nothing I've read indicates he was part of the "Hide Katherine" scheme. That was all Rebbie, Randy, Jermaine and Janet. So I think this may have made Tito realize what they were doing and he doesn't want to be a part of it.
