Oh man. I don't understand this.
Is it possible she went somewhere to give birth? Maybe they were afraid the baby was going to be apprehended for whatever reason? Then baby and m9m were killed during the chase?
Or maybe mom went into labour and died?

This was their second child. I am wondering if it was their first that died and shecdied, still pregnant? Thus 3 would have died in reality. Such a tragic occurende either way.

There are more questions than answers as the sheriff's department investigates the death of a woman and a baby.*

We told you Friday night about a missing woman, Katrina Rivera, who is 9 months pregnant. She was last seen with her boyfriend Manuel Vela in her maroon Hyundai Elantra. The sheriff's department wouldn't confirm if the deceased female was in fact Rivera.

Family confirms that the deceased are Katrina and her baby. Sheriff's office remains tight-lipped and it is still not clear when/how the baby boy was born. Vela ran from the vehicle with the baby after crashing in the police chase. He then put the baby down and continued running. The baby was declared dead at the hospital and Katrina was found dead in the car.

Vela was convicted of domestic violence 3 times since 2009, the most recent of which was in June. Katrina took out a restraining order against him twice, in 2010 and 2011. !! :maddening:

Rest in peace Katrina and baby boy Rivera.
