As of this moment in time he has accepted plea deal for manslaughter with a proposed sentence of 25 years. All that is based on the stipulation that he shows them where her body is. According to what I was told before he was even arrested was that he cut her up and disposed of her in the dumpster behind the now defunct Laguna Inn.

I know too many people that had either a connection with her or knew info about the murder. I was told more than I ever wanted to know.

He should have been locked up long-term before he even had the chance to murder Kiera!

I just hope that he is incarcerated long enough that he physically cannot hurt any more women.

Hopefully he ages poorly in prison because he will probably be released before he's 50.

Another man in Humboldt also only got 25 yrs for murder + a bunch of other charges, including attacking a guard with a weapon.

California's "justice" system sickens me!!!

In exchange for a 25-year sentence, Eureka man Jason Miller led the police to the body of his victim, 32-year-old Kiera Foley.

On Thursday, at least a dozen of Foley’s family members and loved ones appeared in court and via Zoom to observe the day Miller was sentenced. He was facing an indeterminate life sentence, but after guiding officers to Foley’s body located on May 10, the murder charge against him was changed to voluntary manslaughter. In an unusual move, the district attorney’s office was the one to propose the deal, in accordance with the wishes of Foley’s family.

“You are a coward. You are inhumane and these are your truths you will have to live with forever,” Kenyon Miller, Kiera Foley’s mother told Miller at the sentencing. “I’m gonna forgive you to be free of you.”

Andrea Sullivan, Miller’s attorney, noted that Miller went out into the field with officers to lead them to Foley’s body, which was discovered on May 10 in Eureka’s outskirts, after the stipulated deal went through. Had officers been unable to locate her, Miller’s case would likely have gone to trial.
