Missing Woman’s Remains Found In Angeles Crest After 2-Year Search

Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department say they’ve found the remains of a Sunland woman who’s been missing since June 2014.

A silver Honda CRV was found Tuesday at the bottom of a 500-foot embankment off the Angeles Crest Highway near Mount Wilson. Skeletal remains were found nearby. The vehicle was recovered Thursday, and homicide detectives announced the Honda was connected to Kimberly Blum.

This is so sad they found her pills on that road and couldn't see her car back in 2014.
Thank God her family finally has answers on what happened to her.

I just saw this on my news page. Sad news. I'm glad though that her family now knows where she is. I guess we will find out later how she got to the bottom of the cliff and whether or not it was an accident or something more sinister. RIP Kimberly.

It's official:

Coroner’s officials Wednesday confirmed that skeletal remains found near an overgrown SUV crash scene in the Angeles National Forest near Mt. Wilson last week are those of a 47-year-old Sunland woman who went missing more than two years ago.Kimberly Ann Blum, 47, was last seen on June 5, 2014, after leaving her sister’s home in La Crescenta, according to Los Angeles police investigators and her mother, Rosalie Blum.
