Burbank teacher found dead in home; her son arrested for murder

A woman, who was found dead in her Burbank home with her son being named the suspect in her murder, was identified as a teacher for the Burbank Unified School District.

Karyn Lombardo, 57, was a kindergarten teacher at Bret Harte Elementary School in Burbank, a school official confirmed.

This is all over our local news. Her 25 yr old son is saying it was an accident during an altercation. Why does a 25 yr old have an altercation with his mother in the 1st place though?

It is very sad. She looked like a lovely woman and seemed to love her family very much.

I don't think it was a heart attack since he is being charged with murder.

It is possibly that he shoved her and she fell and bashed or head or something like that, IMO.
