Sadly, California is like a third world country.

Sorry, but that's simply not true.

I'm sure it's lovely where you live.

But, let's face it...
Common rolling blackouts throughout CA because of lack of power infrastructure
Homeless cities...Literally city sidewalks full of homeless camps and desert areas with tent cities.
Rats...Los Angeles is 2nd in the nation in population of these disease carrying rodents.
Plague...See the lovely rats that above that actually brought it to LA City Hall.
Human feces on sidewalks...
Used needles and drugs dumped everywhere...
Water restrictions...New law to limit water consumption to 55 gallons per day.

Sounds more like a slum than some kind of paradise to me.

Honestly, you're talking about a particular few areas that are not representative of the state as a whole.
But those places make the news.

So very sad that EMS has been asked to triage patients. It is a heavy duty to have to triage when you are not a physician. At an ems scene with multiple victims, it is a horrible mission to make those decisions to treat the most survivable when typically you treat the most needy. Very sad time in our country when this call comes and it is dependent on hospital conditions through no fault of the systems of medical care.

I know...It's just like Chicago. Chicago is a war zone with thousands of people being shot and so many hundreds killed, year after year. Chicago has other things going on, sure, but it is still a war zone.

LA can be a bad place too but only parts of it. There’s lots of beautiful and nice places of LA too. The bad makes the news.
ive lived in CA all my life. I know the truth. Yes there are murders and other crimes but for the most part it’s a nice place to live.
