GUILTY CA - Lana Clarkson, 40, fatally shot, Alhambra, 3 Feb 2003

Hello Jeanna,

My feeling is that these women were terrorized and knew what this guy's power could do. Aside from that, have you seen the things that they aren't letting into the trial? The times that people DID report Spector, the "hand slapping" he got, probations? I can't believe that they aren't letting these things into the trial.

"Spector Driver Set to Testify in Murder Trial
May 14, 2007, 1:34 PM PDT"

http://ktla.trb.com/

Welllllll ......... that was before mr. rosen did his usual long, boring, cross examinations that do nothing (IMO) but have mr. rosen taking every opportunity, over and over again, to say what a swell guy phil spector is, "right"?

looks like court is in recess for the day? Monday gone.

There is at least one similarity between O.J. Simpson and Phil Spector. they both deny every allegation and claim that everybody else is lying. Simpson denied striking Nicole while photos of her bruised face was being shown during the civile trial. Simpson also could have said that he "didn't recall" owning Bruno Magli shoes. Instead, he flatly denied ever owning the "ugly 🤬🤬🤬 shoes." Testifying during the civil trial, he denied telephone company records and photographs.

Yesterday, I saw a clip of Spector talking to reporters two years ago outside the courthouse. Cutler was trying to keep him from talking without success. Spector said, "Mr. Spector never pulled a gun on any of these women. Make that very clear." He was referring to himself in the third person.

The prosecution had at least 10 women who said that Spector pulled guns on them. They are calling 4 of them. On cross, the defense lawyers did not really assert that the incidents didn't happen. Just that Spector did not shoot them.

Picture Spector on the witness stand calling them all liars. That's what he will do if he testifies. It would be much like Simpson's testimony in his civil trial. Spector will say, "Everybody else is lying. I'm not responsible for anything."

Just the testimony from the three or four we've already heard from would be reason enough to get him "in the system." They've got one more apparently that they're saving until later in the trial. Chasing a houseguest down the driveway with an "uzi" must be a serious offense, even in California.

snip....
*** Did anyone see that interview by michael bryant with phil's two twin sons, who say they were adopted as a "christmas gift for ronnie," but tho they were twins, phil would lock them in separate bedrooms every night after dinner, so they never spent as much time with each other as they ordinarily would have. there was barbed wire on the fence, dogs in the yard, and guards on the premises .... i wouldnt be surprised if ronnie didnt get similar treatment.

:loser: :loser: :loser:

If you have a link to this interview - could you please share?? I'd love to read it!! Or if someone else has that!! :D

I saw snippets of it back when the murder occurred and again during these last two weeks. Spector apparently has been mentally ill for decades. I felt so sorry for those kids. Apparently his ex-wife is just as mentally ill. Otherwise, what could explain her allowing that abuse?

W-O-W !!!

the testimony of the driver, adriano de souza.

Phil Spector: "I think I just killed someone"
as he held a gun (.38 snub-nose revolver) in his right hand.
he was 5 to 6 feet away from adriano when he said it.

the driver was low-key and matter-of-fact.
i believed him.

you might still be able to see it on CTV.
I was watching the ktla stream, but the driver didnt get on the stand until after lunch, and i missed the first part of the direct examination.

by the time i started watching (@ 3 pm Pacific time), he was saying he had driven PS about 13 times by that feb 2/3 night/morning ..... so CTV w/b showing it in the morning .... and it takes a little over an hour to get to the part where he describes hearing the noise, seeing the door open, PS standing in the door, holding the gun.

then he says he looked around PS, into the foyer, saw "the lady's legs," looked further in, saw the blood on her face.

when court ended and the jury was gone, the defense lawyer asked the judge to ask adriano de souza to bring his immigration records and english language records w/him when he comes back .... their usual Focus on the Picky, ignore the Pink Elevant!

Dr Henry Lee at 1:30pm!!! as witness!! Didn't he take SOMETHING from the crime scene??? :waitasec:

  • #316
Jury back at 9:30am Monday morning??

Oh - they must be having a 'private' hearing for Dr. Lee - about the item he took from the crime scene??

Sorry - for the questions!

Yes, apparently. One of the legal assistants who worked with previous defense counsel claims that a "white" particle of evidence was found and removed from the scene by Dr. Henry Lee. They say it may be either a piece of tooth or fingernail. Two others claim that they saw the item and others claim that it didn't happen. The item apparently was never turned over to prosecutors and they want to know what happened to it. Dr. Lee was in China on business when the hearing on this issue came up, so the judge had to put the issue aside until Dr. Lee returned to America.

Oh no, Dr. Lee is on the stand and on the hot seat, this DA is all over him and Dr. Lee is not a happy camper..

He's use to being treated like a God, he's arguing with the DA and looking to the judge for help. :)
